And this^. Can I get in on this love fest?  Seriously I wanted to start a positive thread for people who love DA2 but even if I begged people to leave it as positive only they wouldn't. Drives me batty. Maybe I'll start one any way.

You could start a group: Positively Civil People...er... or somthing along the lines of that. Name it what you want. But I would gladly acquaint myself with those that are lighthearted and humorous enough to be civil in the face of difference.

Oh good idea! I just feel for people who want a positive thread and it keeps getting torn down. I have plenty of threads where I can ****, but it seems that those that love it don't. And that sucks.

I have no idea what is going on in here, but the thing I was upset about the most in DA2 was the unchanging reused dungeons of course.

Oh yeah. I did two playthroughs, and felt like I had done six because of those.

These I guess, your forgot

• Not being able to customize my party
• Not being able to use party members when I want to
• Being "forced" to always have a rogue if you want loot in chests
• Being "forced" to use Varric because his Crossbow is obscenely over powered
• "Sustained modes" draining all mana and stamina in the name of "balance"
• Linear class development presented with non linear graphics even tho they have linear requirements
•   I.e. you cant get a Reaver passive boost unless you unlock the Activated abilities you don't even want and cant use anyway because Hawke never has stamina
• Being forced to spend points on abilities that CAN NOT be activated at the same time, in order to unlock more abilities that you really do want.  They call this the "gift with purchase" business model

[*]No, I did not forget them ... nor a host of others that yourself and the rest have helpfully supplied.
[*]I just got finger cramps and a massive head-ache thinking about and attempting to list them all.
[*]This game is giving me an ulcer just thinking of all the wasted potential they have flushed away ...

It's probably been mentioned, but the fact that Mage Hawke is only recognized as a mage to fit the story. Meridth knows Hawke is a mage, but Cullen doesn't? One could say the Grand Cleric knows but doesn't want to say as the consequences could be unpleasant for all. Varric knows Hawke is a mage, but Sebastian doesn't and Anders sometimes remembers Hawke is a mage and other times forgets. Even Hawke herself (or himself) handwaves the issue when going in and out of the Gallows. "They won't notice little old me, I'll just blend in." Funny, but I didn't think mages could come and go as they pleased. And to be honest, I wouldn't mind it so much if the mage/templar thing hadn't been the whole point of the story. There's suspension of disbelief and then there's hanging it by the neck until dead. I'm sorry, but that small thing really bugged me.

I find strippers get mad when you shove coins in the CENSORED and pull their arm like a slot machine.

And that may be true, but so what? There have been quite a few points of agreement on what is wrong with this game from both sides. Seems there is actually a lot of agreement, and most of us agree to disagree on whether those flaws took away from our enjoyment or not.

All three of you can take yourselves to other threads. No one is making you read these at all. I have seen some posititve ones and I have even cheered them on.  Why not go find one of those is this thread displeases you all so.

ROFL!!! Bring a bucket and leave the whining about whining at the door then. Oh, and the Orlesian strippers don't mind when you put a coin in their *CENSORED* and pull their arm like a slot machine. Neppakyo told me. So I hope you brought coins. They used to take credit cards, but found it too hard to get the cards to swipe properly.

And just to keep this on topic so it doesn't get locked...one of the things that bugged me most about the GAME (not the valid arguments from both sides...ie whining) was that I kept seeing the epicness it could have been, but it kept doing a strip tease and then pulled out these huge fans of bleh to hide behind.
