24. Companions Locked into Roles not defined by the player.

25. Having more fun making Motivational Posters then I did playing the game.

28. Removal of stealing for Rogue types.
29. Removal of rune-crafting.
30. Removal of poison-crafting.
31. Where's the epic?
32. Flawed in-game Economy.
33. Disjointed Story lacks drive, purpose.
34. Lack of "real" choices.
35. Awful ending.
36. LOOOOOOOONG load screens.
37. Removal of Origin stories.
38. Removal of finishing/ending moves.
39. Darkspawn are now comical Skeletor clones.
40. Rushed game.
41. Nightmare level is broken, its far too difficult and hard is far too easy. Unbalanced.
42. Imported dialogue wheel from ME2.
43. Generic item names cause inventory confusion and clutter: ring, amulet, belt, etc.
44. Ridiculous amount of junk loot which is absolutely worthless
45. Elves look much, much worser now.
46. Removal of crossbows (except for Varric's Bianca)
47. Awful general hand-holding of the player.
48. Abuse of menial mind-numbing fedex quests.
49. Most of the armor collected in-game cannot be equipped (whether by you or by your companions) so it must be sold. Design flaw.
50. Having to be ever so careful with whay I say to Anders, to avoid rivalry points, and STILL ending in bed with him (without me wanting)!
51. And finally my biggest gripe for DA2 is the lack of threesomes. Isabella, honey, you've disappointed me.

if I had to pick just one complaint it'd be the lack of consequences which leads to the lack of replay value
I don't mind the game being shorter, just as long as I can actually play it multiple times without getting bored

-not being able to talk to companions whenever
-act 3 being too short
-the idol being a chekhov's gun and not something more explored
-having to fight both meredith and orsino no matter what

also this is really in general about all Bioware games including DAO...

where's the minigames? The Witcher has dice poker and brawls, Red Dead Redemption has cards, that's fun... DAO had nothing, DA2 has nothing, ME2 has nothing, ME1 had a gambling machine that was boring and that's the last game that had anything

Eh, I never enjoy the minigames in RPGs so it's not something I miss personally. I tend to complete them as fast as possible if they come with a good reward and then never touch them again on replays. They have definitely toned it down of late however, for good or bad. I must admit I wouldn't mind seeing card games return if it involved us getting to join in with Isabela and Varric's card game nights.

What upsets me the most is the reaction to criticism of the game.  I can pay $10.00 for a movie ticket or $25.00 for a book and complain about not liking it till I'm blue in the face and nobody seems to mind.  If I pay $60.00 for a game I don't like and complain about it then my compliants are dismissed out of hand because I'm automatically labeled a mouth breathing, button mashing video game fan who has never touched a woman in real life and lives in my parent's basement.  What upsets me the most is I'm complaining about the game in the first place because I want the video game industry to make quality games that don't reinforce that steriotype.  Even Laidlaw just casually writes off the complaints of the game to take advantage of the steriotype the gaming community has, using the "oh well, you know how those gamers are lolz" excuse.

There are just too many problems with this game. Only a Toolset, some very good modders, and a year of work could fix this game.

It was a disaster from it's inception, how Bioware thought this game would not be received badly amazes me.

23 - people who tell me that I am nostalgic of  Baldur'sgate  while I only know Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

24 - Do not see Persephone defend the game on all subjects on this forum. There are negative topics which survives without it appearing. It's a shame.
