I just bought the four Mass Effect 2 figures that FINALLY came out last week and I've hit a bit of a snag....I can't decide if I should take them out of the packaging or not....

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the series one action figures by DC Direct that have been delayed over and over and over and over again:

They look good, but the packaging looks good, too.  I'm probably going to leave Shep in the package because I honestly don't care about him (He's not my Shep, gorram it), but other then that I can't decide.  Also, i really wish Bioware and DC Direct didn't have their falling out because I would have loved to see series 2 with Mordin, Miranda, Legion, and Garrus.  Honestly, I wanted them more, but I'll take what I could get.  Also, I'm sad that there is nothing for my girl, Jack.  :crying:

So, what do you guys think?  Package or display?  Also, anybody have any word on if and when they'll do another series?  I know they're not planning on working with DC Direct again, but I'm hoping somebody gets on it.  Maybe Dark Horse since they're doing the Normandy figure?

You might as well keep them in their package, I mean, come on - they won't become less ugly than they are if you unwrap them

Do you want to display them or play with them? Displaying them means you have the option of possibly selling them and they will continue to gain value...and if ME ever takes off as an IP (beyond the trilogy) they might one day be worth something...especially after the series got the axe.

Yeah, being all serious, I wouldn't open them unless you want to go "pew-pew-pew WSHOOOOM" with them.

Just displaying them. Lol, I don't really play with my figures, they just sit on my shelf at home or at work. (although now I have the urge to bust out my old Ghostbuster and Ninja Turtle toys from the closet...) I don't know if I ever plan on re-selling them, but I do want them to look good while they are sitting out.
