I did the big door first, but you get 3 chances to pick 3 data bases and I spent 2 hours last night and 40 trys tonight. Can anyone give me a hint how to complete it.

While most of the people here have played ME2, you might have better luck actually asking this question over in the ME2 forums instead of the ME1 forums.

Are you talking the mini-games??
1) is a memory game were you choose pairs of dots in a time limit. You have a certain time limit between clicking on each dot, to get to it's match. Match all in time to win the prize
2) You look for a match to the segment displayed at the top in the scrolling lists. If you hit a red X segment you either lose the game if you have no matches or lose one match if you do. Match three by moving around the board with your moment keys/controls and choose with your action key IIRC.
