Well, In Mass Effect 1, we killed one reaper.
In Mass Effect 2, we kill a reaper under construction (I count it as one reaper).
I think this trend of one reaper killed per game should continue through Mass Effect 1,568.

Lil' John as a squadmate. He will wear solid gold/platinum armor (and cap turned sideways) and have a gold and gem-encrusted chalice (which can instantly revive other squadmates) and a chrome-plated Carnifex Heavy Pistol (which he holds sideways with one hand in combat).

During conversations, he will occasionally interject with his iconic "YEAH!!!" or "WHAT!!!" depending on the situation.

At times, he will also bust out a random rhyme, whereupon you get a Paragon interrupt option, where Shepard turns around and punches him out.

Something interesting to see MIGHT be a gift system like DA2, not random things, but one or two that are specifically significant to certain characters. Could be cute/sweet. Flamewielder, from the Samara thread had a wonderful thought in regards to that. :3

The Reapers to attack the Citadel, then the Council sends a distress communication to the Normandy:

Turian Councilor: Shepard, we need your help! The Reapers have attacked the Citade-
Shepard: Ah, yes. "Reapers." -closes comm-

Then Shepard goes in and saves their asses anyway, just to prove a point.
