If you DON'T flirt with Isabella during her 'Ongoing Search' quest, but do flirt with her afterwards (like while giving her the boat), will she not show up at your estate later? I sort of changed my romance-mind mid act and even though i'm almost maxed (friendly) with her, and flirted with her at least once, she won't show up for her booty call.

Did you sleep with Anders or Merrill before changing you mind? Those two romances have the nasty habit of steamrolling everything else.

Nope I haven't bagged anyone yet. Just flirted with Merrill and (then) Isa.

I think you need to flirt with her at the beginning of Act 2 to kick her romance off.

As an aside, I plowed ahead with my regular romance with Merrill and then talked to Isabela afterwards and did get the "pick her or me" scene. So it did, infact, initiate the romance... I just never got the pirate booty call.

You only get the option to flirt with her during her romance commentary if you have polished Merrill's eluvian. Since we've previously established Merrill's romance-ending juggernaut qualities, it's essentially over. You probably ended up in that weird hybrid bugged state where the game thinks you are romancing Isabela only in her own conversations but not in anyone else's.

Neither Isabela nor Fenris move in. Only Anders and Merrill do.

Did she confess that she is falling for you? Otherwise you can't object.

Did you ever sleep with Merrill? It's possible to get into a weird hybrid state where the Isabela-specific dialogues think you are in a relationship with her, but non-specific ones (e.g. Zevran encounter) do not. The bug is actually that the relationship is supposed to end if you sleep with Merrill (or Anders) at all, but it's not complete.

Isabela was the one to talk to Hawke when mama hawke died. The Codex sayss after I dueled the Arishok Hawke and Izzy were in deep convo. 

It really PISSED me off that my Hawke just let Zevran and Izzy run off without an objection 

Plus I slitted Zevran's throat why in the hell is he alive anyway  Can't believe Izzy would have sex with a zombie, she told me she had standards

Yup. Your Isabela romance got bugged/steamrolled by Merrill in the moment you danced the horizontal tango with her.

This is your problem. You can't polish Merrill's eluvian at all, or else you end the relationship, and that includes what Varric says in the epilogue about someone staying with Hawke.
