Yet I enjoyed DA2 despite the poor design decisions, so yeah I'll get DA3 first day.

If it's rushed/half-assed/ like DA:2, um, NO.

I liked DA2's story just fine. Not everything has to be EPIC! I'm not a fan of the "AWESOME!" button or re-used areas. Kirkwall was pathetic and I would like companion inventory back.

The concept of the story was just fine. It was the way it was implimented and all those glaring plot holes that made it bad.
A lot of us complainers are fine with a story that doesn't focus on "evil bad dude, army fight!" epic type of stories, its just DA2 failed on delivery on what was promised.
I do hope Bioware looks to the witcher series on how to impliment NPC's in a city, and how to make a city too.. frankly, sparse cities and furniture NPC's aren't cutting it anymore for bioware games.
None of this "console limitation" bullsh!t I keep hearing on the reason for crappy NPC's and an empty city. If thats the problem, leave it out for the console versions, but keep it in on the PC version. Some PC gamers are getting tired of console designed and ported games to PC.

Assuming it is made: yes.
If they made it, I will buy it.
If it is as much of a step backward as DA:2 is from DA:O, I will be disappoint.

I just actually finished DA2 for the first time as a rogue. Didn't run into any gane-breaking bugs, as it was post-patch, but it did not fire the imagination. Started another warrior playthrough to try out the Better Combat mod, but I just can't seem to summon the will to go through it again at this time. Tried one mage playthrough, but just couldn't handle the gaping plot chasm caused by simply being a mage wandering around Kirkwall. Niether do I particularly enjoy the Kartoon Kombat.
I don't hate DA2, neither do I love it. And therin lies the rub. I pre-ordered DA2 because I love DA:O. I will not pre-order DA3 because I don't love DA2.
