I just got my Ultimate Edition today and I have no idea where to start lol. I know there are some bonus items from dlc that carry over to Origins and Awakening. So I was thinking of maybe doing Leliana's Song, Wich Hunt, Golems of Amgarrak and  Darkspawn Chronicles first. Then start Origins, do Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar and The Stone Prisoner. And after Origins, import my character to Awakening.

Is that a good way to play through Dragon Age, or is it better to do it in a different order (for whatever reason my be)? Any advice would be appreciated, but please keep it spoiler free.

I always assumed that Origins would be the best place to start , it's the main focus and everything else spawned from it , if you play origins first then your playthrough can also take in Wardens Keep and Stone Prisoner , i  do Wardens as soon as it is available and then follow onto stone prisoner. Have yet to do any of the others and am on my 2nd playthrough.

All the Best :D

Origins->Awakening->Golems->Witch Hunt. You can import your character in this order (it is also the chronological order).

Darkspawn Chronicles definitely after Origins. Leliana's Song can be done at any time.

Yeah. Do it in order. I'd go through the Origins->Awakening->Golems->Witch Hunt chain. Then do Song and Darkspawn.

Much appreciated guys. I will definitelly do it in this order then. Origins (plus all three Origins dlc's) -> Awakening -> Golems -> Wich Hunt -> Darkspawn Chronicles. And I will probably do Leliana's Song sometime after meeting her in Origins (since it is a backstory, it would make sense to do it so, mainly to better understand and relate to her past later on in the game).

Once again, thnx for all the helpful tips guys.

A few tips on Origins->Awakening item transfer. Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner items do NOT transfer to Awakening. Sell them at the end of Origins before making the export save (money does transfer over). Also, you get a storage chest upon completing Warden's Keep. The contents do not transfer over. Pick the items you want to keep and sell the rest.

I'd play Leliana's Song right after you've finished her personal quest in Origins. This way you still get the Battledress of the Provocateur in Origins, although - depending on when you do Leliana's quest - rather late. And even if you don't care about that armor (I know I don't), it's quite cool to learn more about Leliana while still having her around.
