Well maybe you can do a playthrough that has Ashley alive in ME3 just for him.  then you can just tell him she got saved off screen.

It's be dumb if they came back as a reaper or husk like persona. I mean if you let them die at the nuke forget it they're vaporized and if you let them die at the tower whoever was the one responsible for bringing them back would've had to drop the whole evac plan and get their bodies before the nuke went off either way their body is nothing but tiny particles.

as much as I love those two, ther's no way when hey wer either right next to it, or about 100 feet from it. Unless they were suddenly covered in an impenetrable barrier when teh bomb went off, then they're gone.

Yeah kaidan probably used an impenetrable kinetic barrier. And everyone knows Ashley just used immunity got out of that place without too much damage.

Hehe, yes, and if he asks about Kaidan, I will tell him he's off on a super secret mission during ME3, and he can't be with us.

Hopefully he'll continue to be gullible until at least November...

I don't know how I'd feel about it to be honest... I guess something like that happening invalidates a key part of ME1, could be interesting though.

Thinking back to the escape from Virmire, it's possible that Saren/Sovereign/Geth captured the 'sacrificee'... them coming back as some sort of Human/Reaper hybrid would be crazy.
