Hey guys,
So I know that there are a couple of other threads around here that are similar to this issue, but none of the threads seemed to resolve my problem.  I recently purchased a new computer and I bought DA:UE off the EA steam sale that they were having.  After installing the game and trying to play it, the game won't launch after I click the "play" button from the launcher.  I'm not quite sure what the problem is, I tried running it as an administrator and it told me that my Physxloader.dll can't be found.  So I re-installed the physx driver and tried again, only to have nothing happen to me when I press play on the launcher.  So far I have been very unsuccessful at getting this game to launch, help would be much appreciated.
P.S. I have registered the game to my EA account

Heres some information on my PC:

Sorry your having problems and thanks for providing your system specs. When you load the launcher, then you click "play"... exactly what happens? Does the game start to load and it crashes? Or does the launcher reappear?

Once I press the "play" button on the launcher, the launcher closes itself and nothing happens, I guess the system is crashing in other words? I'm not quite sure for I do not know too much about computers.

BTW, when we say "launcher" we're talking about the DAO launcher, with the white-haired woman on it, right?

First, I would suggest you use Steam to validate your installation files.
Second, can you confirm that the Windows user account you're using has administrator access? Go to Control Panel > User accounts to check.

Yeah, its the woman with the white hair

I have used Steam to validate my installation files and I have even de-fragmented the local files, none of which yielded good results.
And yes I do believe I have administrator access for my computer, when I go to Control Panel >User, under my name (for the account) it says administrator below it

Have you rebooted your PC since installation? If not, please do so.

If that does not, there are several Steam-related threads linked in the solutions roundup, which is below in my sig. Meanwhile, I'll dig.

I did exactly what it said on this forum but it still isn't letting me run the game.  Here are my specs:

Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU    Q8200  @ 2.33GHz
Physical Memory: 3.99 GB
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
Video Memory: 1.00 GB
Driver version: 267.24
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

Could something else be wrong with it?

Not enough information. Playing at piggyback on existing threads is usually a poor idea also. Please read the appropriate advice in the stickies or in here, as per your question in the wrong forum:

Do you have the game from Steam?  Ultimate Edition?  And can you please specifically describe the issue you're having?

Thanks,

Adding... if anyone else is having issues, please start a new topic. The OP has not confirmed a fix yet.

Hey guys,
Sorry for the late response, RaenImrahl I really appreciate all the help you have provided me with, it seems that my solution was simply just restarting my computer (can't believe I haven't done so earlier). The game now runs fine, thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it
