The "don't you think people actually take longer time than they say" is pretty much the same as "don't you think people take shorter".
Maybe the game makes it possible to play it short as well, I dont' know. Maybe they never pause or think of tactics? Maybe they never wait for the actors to finish in their time and only read the conversations? Maybe they just take on the quest without talking extensivellly with the NPCs? Who knows..
Where do people find the time

I'm really enjoying this game REALLY SLOWLY.
My hardcore days are over. When you're like 30+ you have other stuff to do.
That is not a bad thing, but I wish I had more time to immerse myself into the game. Sometimes I only have 1 hour to play and I feel like I rush it.
I'm happy that the journal reminds me what I need to do :-)
This game really has to be experienced like a good book and not like a magazine in my opinion. Really good stuff - and I have played A LOT of games (coming from the Commodore 64 era).
Enjoy! Slow down ;-)

Been unemployed since the summer so i got alot of free time. But i starting a new job next week so i'm playing my ass of right now trying to lessen my addiction before i start. Gonna be a pain if i have to spend my days staring at the clock and waiting for the day to come to an end.
