Hello Mac Supporter,
I play Dragon Age: Origins Standard Edition which I bought from gametreemac.com. Normally it functions well, but sometimes when I press button Tab to highligh the legends in the area (chest, characters, etc), it stucked, turn black the screen and then out to my desktop and say something like "bug rise, etc". So do you have any suggestion to fix it? Or some patch that I should install? I'll be very appreciate it. Thank you

It's an old problem, but here is no way to fix this right now. Have you patched up to v1.04 already? These crashes are less frequent with the latest patch...

Yes, I got it the very first time I launched the game, updated and patched it, and now the bug is still exist. It is not so frequent, but it has ruined my game a few times when everything seems to be flawless.

That, I'm afraid, is normal behavior. It happens to everyone I know. Before 1.04, the game used to crash every few hours on my machine. Now it lasts several weeks without a crash, but they still happen. The only solution is to save often.

Yes, that's why the creator have their own "reason" when note is in the loading screen: "Please save your game frequently"!!!

As a gamer who started on the Commodore Amiga, saving every few minutes is a natural thing to me. It has gotten better over the years, believe me.

Yep, I think that's a good advice. And even it's seems to be a little wasting when playing DA2, it is still applicable too. (In my Mac, I encountered almost no such problem of running DA2, even though the system requirements of DA2 is a little superior!!! How fascinating!!!)

That's good to know. But judging from the "cartoony" graphics of DA2, that shouldn't be a surprise...

I thought the graphics of DA2 is superior in comparison with DA:O. But as you say, even the graphics is simplified, though?
