But can you take off the ( at the end of each 'link'? They're bothering me Posted Image.

The Q&A was still subpar to any other info.

Storm of info? You mean at E3? In four weeks?

Did I miss some important announcement?

Why would you even bother with a Q&A that doesn't have a Bioware rep doing the answers part? Obviously it's going to be either a bunch of dumb questions ("will we play as Shepard in ME3?") or a lot of "well we really don't know yet" answers.

They said that Liara and Garrus will be permanent squad members.  I'm quite pleased by that myself

I just hope Liara has the same set of powers she had in LOTSB; because she was a really fun squad member in that mission.

They did?!  *joyous squee*  Awesome!

That moveset was pretty insane.  I'd say it was almost OP, but they could get away with it since she was just temping.  Nonetheless, singularity and stasis rock; I hope they're both in the game.

Well I think the cooldown on Singularity was maybe a little too low (8 seconds as opposed to 6 would probably be more appropriate) and Stasis needs some tweaking so that you can't spam it repeatedly to keep an enemy locked down permanently; but aside from that I thought it was a really great set of powers.   I particularly enjoyed stripping the defenses on a cluster of enemies with Garrus's area overload and then having Liara send them all flying with Singularity.

Singularity is really powerful and fun to use crowd control ability with a large area of effect which makes her feel like a really powerful biotic should though I would increase its cooldown to 8 seconds as opposed to 6.

Warp is the bread and butter direct damage biotic ability which gives her good functionality for dealing with armor or barriers.

and Stasis fills in as a crowd control ability which is effective on enemies who's defenses are still up.

Together they gave Liara a solid option for pretty much any situation and made her feel like a powerful biotic squad member should.

It does.  It has diminishing returns.  By the 3rd time it lasts basically no time at all and eventually has no effect.

Which is why you rotate through your targets rather than spamming it on one dude. It's incredibly unbalancing effective when used correctly.

Yeah, I really think it needs a longer cooldown in addition to the diminishing returns (and major bosses like the Reaper should definitely be immune to it).

It works really well on Liara where it has a 12 second cooldown; but on Shepard it has a 6 second cooldown and that makes it overpowered.

But: I like the power itself and having a biotic ability that works against shielded enemies is a definite plus.

Yeah, I know CCing one guy is so poiwerful.  I mean it is overpowered to take a person out of the fight instantly like that Widow and claymore thing, or how AR allows you to kill people so quickly.
