Now for my Archer I thought of going for Ranger and Duelist (Assassin is more melee oriented as far as I know, and I don't like the idea of a Bard at all.) but after having tried the first two skills on Leliana (Which I gave Duelist on my Mage) I noticed the second skill is only for melee. And I wonder if the same goes for the forth skill.

Pinpoint Strike

• Upkeep:0
• Fatigue: 0%
• Range: No
• Cooldown (sec): 180
• Area of Effect (ft): 0

The duelist has learned to strike the vitals of an enemy with
pinpoint accuracy and from any angle. For a moderate duration, all
successful attacks generate automatic critical hits.

If so. That means Duelist is pretty crap for an Archer too, no?

You can only activate it with a melee weapon but after that switch to ranged and fire away!

Alright, thanks. That's a shame. But the effect works then, if you switch weapons?
