She made me giggle a bit, no squees though and certainly no need for capslocking or nommingherhead.
I thought Merrill was a great character. I hope we get to learn more about her in upcoming DLC or an expansion.

I giggled and I desired to NOM her.
I don't squee.

you guys do know this is in reference to one of the writers who said Merril made her go "GIGGLESQUEE" and made her want to "Nom on her head" needless to say she got some hate for it. Blothulfur I request a shrubbery.
I guess I'll have to start glowering for both of us then.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

The hunger demon in the Deep Roads can be legitimately helpful, and it's possible to end the whole situation without violence. Torpor... less so, but Merrill doesn't want you to take the deal necessarily, only listen to it. Alas, doing so will make Justice try to kill you, so I don't do that.Rifneno wrote...
I usually find the innocent and naive bit endearing, but when it's taken to the extreme of "Don't hurt the demon just for being a demon, let's hear him out!" then it sets off some major "CRAZY ****, RUN AWAY!" alarms. They're like carbon monoxide detectors. Not everyone has them installed, but trust me, you should.
Aveline is sh*t funny.Sir Kyanin wrote...
oh, she isn't nearly as bad as Aveline, at least Merrill had some sort of humor.

And Audacity... well, that's a nightmare to figure out. Let's just say that I feel a lot of that was Marethari's fault.

Oh I would nom her. But Isabela is a bit possessive and threatens to cut of my balls if I do anything nom realated with or to Merrill... and I really like my balls. So no. Only imaginary squees and noms.
Not if Torpor wouldn't want to possess Feynriel, necessarily. It's true that the odds are high of that being the case, but there's always a chance otherwise, yes?In regards to Torpor: Well then Merrill is a completely lost cause. Marethari makes it perfectly clear the earth-shattering consequences if Feynriel becomes an abomination. NOTHING the demon could offer would be remotely worth letting it happen. There's no reason to listen to its deal. The closest thing I can think of that might, and I stress might be worth letting Torpor take Feynriel is eradicating the darkspawn taint. Like, forever. Just poof, no more darkspawn, no more blights, no more archdemons. But that's clearly way beyond what any demon can offer, let alone a mid-tier one.
I haven't done the Isabela romance but I'm pretty sure she's being protective of Merrill (in a big sister way) not possessive of Hawke.Rifneno wrote...
