The second boxed set of the Dragon Age pen and paper RPG is now available from Green Ronin.

The Dragon Age RPG has been called the best introduction to RPGs in 30 years. Set 1 put adventurers on their path and covered characters of level 1 to 5. Now Set 2 brings them to the next stage of their journey, providing everything needed to play characters of level 6 to 10. Its many highlights include rules for playing the legendary Grey Wardens, the introduction of roleplaying and exploration stunts, nearly 40 new spells, expanded world info and character backgrounds, and the addition of specializations like arcane warrior, berserker, and assassin.

Ehh, not exactly. It's a pen and paper RPG, like Dungeons and Dragons.

what is a pen and paper RPG? I'll assume it involves pens. and paper.

Its the old way RPGs used to be played, you get pens and paper and some friends and you'd build your Player characters while the Dungeon Master would unleash all kindsof hell on you. Its like a MMO but far less massive and no online component.

If the PNP DA game is following closer to the rules of DAO; here is to hoping that DA3 follows closer to the rules of the PNP game and not the rules we saw in DA2.

@MEBengal2008: The PNP games operates on a completely separate ruleset than the games, though it stays true to the setting and uses similar terms for its components. A CRPG based on the DA PNP would basically be NWN with a different magic system.
