I think it should go back to the origins style, where instead of race, class changes your beginning scenario.
For
the warrior, I was thinking you would be inside a circle tower that is
going through the rite of annulment. You would be fighting through and
at some point you would be given a moral dilemma of killing a child mage
hiding in a room. Your duty would be to kill him, but if you do it
would be unsettling. If you dont kill him/her they would then be
possessed later and kill many of your fellow squad mates. It would put a
painful twist on the good/bad choices they enjoyed in da2.
For a
mage you would be a mage fleeing to the top of the circle during an
annulement. At some point you should be given the choice to escape,
leaving behind all of your friends to die or stay and defend
them...forcing you to accept a demon into you to fight them. This choice
should determine class trees later on as well, I.E someone with a demon
will be blood mage and cant go into a certain art. Good idea for other
classes too really...
And rogue would be a bit different. Maybe a
thief in a city like orlais where you would at some point steal from a
rich noble or chevalier. You would then while fleeing come across a poor
family, the needy or maybe even your own and have the option to give
the hard earn coin to them, resulting in you getting caught somehow, OR
you could keep it for yourself garnering you some cool swag early on.
I
REALLY LIKE MY IDEA AND I HOPE BIOWARE SEES THIS!! Plus I like the the
ambiguous no good or bad choices that they seemed to really like in DA2.
You cant just pick the normal noble choice, as it can have terrible
ramifications after wards, PLUS it should effect what sort of skill
trees that ultimately you can unlock adding re playability and a purpose
to be a dick, or in between in some play throughs.
