The DLC installer includes the v1.04 patch which fails to install because it is already applied, this causes the rest of the DLC installation to fail.

I thought you had Ultimate Edition... why are you installing Witch Hunt again?

If you must, of course, I suggest manually installing the dazips... there are two... the DLC and its associated offer file.

Yes I did, but if you are aware of what I have actually done and what I am trying to achieve you would know that I can either download the DLC separately as I have attempted or use the in-game downloader which is slow and fails to download frequently.

It's not my fault that http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php has both broken instructions (They refer to dazip files when you are downloading exe files.) and don't mention that the Witch Hunt DLC exe file (DAO_WitchHunt.exe) fails if you already have v1.04 installed.

So, now that I wasted 847~Mb of my internet quota downloading a useless exe file, I must either reinstall the game and don't install v1.04 before Witch Hunt or download the DAZIP version of the DLC.

Bioware could either update there Witch Hunt installer to not include the v1.04 patch, make the v1.04 patch optional during installation of the DLC, make the v1.04 the last item to be installed during installation of the DLC, provide download links to the DAZIP's thus making it so that at least one file on that website has valid installation instructions or simply make it detect if v1.04 is already installed or not and skip the patch if it detects you as already having v1.04 installed.

Ah... I see. Obviously, they intended for Ultimate Edition to be downloaded in its entirety. Since you're trying to piece together UE to save on bandwidth, you're running into obstacles that others don't. Those downloads on the entitlement page aren't designed for people who have purchased UE... since Witch Hunt and all the rest is included in that 24GB UE download to begin with.

A suggestion... some oil on the water as it were... since Witch Hunt is suppose to be the final campaign... after the Origins story, awakening, and all the other DLC... maybe there's no harm in waiting until your quota resets?

Anyways, best of luck.
