everyone is in thier underwear steam ultamite edition can someone help me

i installed the game it didnt launch smoothlly still doesnt actually but so far everynpc and my char are all in thier underwear and i have no items any idea for a fix

It's hard to troubleshoot based on your description.  Could you give us more details about the problem and your computer?

Intel i5 3.10 processor
nvidia geforce gts 450 (fermi) graphics card
4 gb ram
i have the ultimate edition downloaded from steam
in game noone has any clothes on as if they have nothing equiped and i have no clothing or weapons in my inventory

Thanks for the specs.  When you say the game doesn't launch smoothly, what do you mean?

i fixed that i think but it will say not responding after i launch and just before the first load finishes although it will recover and continue to play

Well, sounds like the installation got corrupted somehow.  I don't have Steam (for DAO) but can you reboot and then run the Steam desktop client to validate the game files?

im not sure what you mean i have both restarted steam and my computer is thier something more you have to do

Launch the Steam interface-- the screen that said Store/Library/News Community.
Click on "Library" and then RIGHT-CLICK on Dragon Age.  On the pop-up menu, select "Properties".
On the Properties screen, go to the "Local Files" tab and select "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".

It will try to detect and fix any problems.  If that doesn't fix it, you might consider uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely.

alright that didnt do it so im going to unistall and reinstall thanks for the help hopethis does it
