I have a female cousland in a realtionship with Alistair and I plan to harden him and make him king and my character be the queen. Is there a way for both Alistair and my character to survive the fight with the archdemon without going through with the dark ritual? Or is that the only way for both of them to survive?

Unless you want to recruit Loghain, and make him do it, yes. But if you recruit Loghain, your relationship ends, no way around it.
So if you want to end the game as Alistair's queen, he's gotta do Morrigan's ritual.

Hmm... does morrigan offer the ritual with fem warden cos im sure the equal love mod made a mention to me romancing alistair as male warden, and then morrigan offerting the rital.

I think you can't as a female warden becase morrigan needs a child

I imagine if you're a female Warden, her offer was for you to convince Alistair to do it, as opposed to suggesting YOU do it, like if you're a male Warden.
