Then Jacob came along and everybody LVOED Liara's shyness and Kaiden's snarking sicne Jacob had no remarkable qualities whatsoever aside form having a sense of honor. So who's going to be the one to make Jacob seem interesting so that everybody who picked him as a roamnce option can see how awesome Jacob was as a character?
We need a character more boring than Jacob

Sazh was a shining beacon in a cast full of mediocrity, Barret was top-tier in a cast full of much higher quality and Little Jacob... Little Jacob was nifty but I could never tell what the hell he was saying.

I think what people fail to realise is that Jacob is "normal", especially when compared to the rest of the crew. It does seem to make him stand out though.

Sazh was okay....i dunno...no character in that game stood out to me...save for Lightning and thats only cuz of her voice actor. too much sap. I really wanted to like that game...but i was let down...and JRPG die hards kinda made me dislike it more cuz it came out the same time as ME2...and if you said anything other than how awesome FFXIII was...you were the devil! I gave it a 5/10. I hope FFXIII-2 ROCKS! Lightning is coming back soooo..yeah.
if they ever make a updated FFVII like alot of people want....im gonna take a week off of work to play it. i think it would be one..if not the...top selling game of all time...yes, even beating out Modern Warfare 2...imho anyways

As for the Barret suggestions... man, I think I'd give just about anything to see that, now that I'm really thinking about it. The amount of potential bromance involved would be freaking hilarious as Shepard and an endlessly profane Jacob fire it up with gun-arm action.
