I find "normal" characters boring. Insane and badass all the way. I hope Sanders isn't a by-the-book type soldier.

I don't think it's possible. I was more interested by the space hamster than him. But then, I barely spoke to Jacob because of femShep's cringe-worthy dialogue, and that hamster is rather incredible.

FemShep won't flirt with Jacob if you choose the middle dialog options.

In one of my FemShep PTs, I went through all dialogs with Jacob without a flirt, and got a brohug at the end.

Did anyone else find it funny that in LotSB when you look at all the info the SHadow Broker has on your crew there are some huge insights in everyone but Jacob.  The only thing you have for Jacob is his workout schedule.

dude is a gymrat!!! bet he is one those a**hats that grunts way too loud in comparison to the weight being lifted...and slams down the weights....and spends more time socializing than lifting. constantly checking himself out in the mirror between sets....like 15 reps is gonna show some new development!! GET IN THERE, DO YOUR THING, AND GET OUT SO OTHERS GET A CHANCE TOO, JACOB!! you aint special!

People exaggerate too much.

The dialogue option to initiate a conversation with him is said in a very flirtatious way, and there's no way around that. The conversation after that option can be kept on the friendly-level with middle options, but not that conversation starter.

I dont know what you're talking about because I didn't find Jacob boring at all. He's my Shepards bro so speak for yourself.
The thing that kills me about all this Jacob crap is that us Black folks FINALLY get a character in a game that isn't a stereotypical shucking and jiving fool and he gets so much hate for being normal. 
It pisses me off that a decent character may get thrown to the wayside because of a bunch of insecure players.

give the guy a puppy he can play with on ship. give him a hobby unrelated to service (cuz he may be a workaholic) ....but show him as a hardcore instrument of destruction on the battlefield to fit his backstory..cuz his backstory make him sound cool but he doesnt play out that way

I dont mean to have him scream hoorah hoorah....but some hard charging stuff!! have him say it with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm!
