Liara became more popular after ME2 not because of Jacob, but because her personality changed from ME1 to ME2. She's more worldy now, and much more bad@ss. That, and she had really interesting backstory with the Shadowbroker.

Also while I don't deny that Jacob is kind of boring, I think he is the least popular squadmate mostly because he's a douche.  If he was boring but not a douche, he still wouldn't have many fans, but he wouldn't have many people that hate him either. Sort of like Kaidan.

what do you mean what do i mean? i didnt start anything. if you are tripping on some racist tip you need to stop. and for you to think so based on any comments in this thread is DOWN RIGHT OFFENSIVE YO!  not once have i brought up Jacob's possible ethnicity. you think i have because you feel i need to believe I MIGHT dislike him based solely on some stereotype associated with skin color? not true.  you perceive it to be because that is how you see it.    ..get a lawyer and make a IRL claim against me....cuz i know something you dont know:D
i dont like Jacob because he pales in comparison to the rest of the cast of characters in the game....FOR ME. and as ive stated...i dislike him as much as i dislike Kaidan...so that must mean im a racist and a misandrist?

Okay, I'm getting really confused....why is it that every time someone not liking Jacob is mentioned, his color/race whatever comes into it? Maybe as an Aussie I'm unaware of some issue in America....but why can't someone just dislike the character for how he is portrayed personality wise, what has his color/race got to do with it?

Poor Jacob. He's ok, but he does have less personality than the robot. Mind you, Legion has a lot of personality, but it still doesn't change the fact that Jacob has less.

humans are boring, aside from Joker and Zaeed human character aboard the Normandy are quite boring. Compare to a Krogan Warlord, an ex c-sec turn vigilante turian, a ex-STG Salarian doctor, a Quarian engineer look pale in comparison.

This is not meant as an attack on you, but I've honestly never understood that reasoning.  If you're tired of a thread, just don't click on it, it doesn't need to 'die', just let those who are interested in the topic continue their discussions and don't click on the thread, its really not all that hard.
