Accusing someone of being racist because they don't like a character in a video game is disrespectful in the extreme; so the people who did so deserve a little disrespect in turn.

People are going to be mad that the gay character is not flaming. But if they made him flaming they'd complain.
What white people want to see if black guys with their pants sagging down who don't speak proper english. Jacob didn't fit this stereotype so he was boring.
We have 3 dialogs Garrus and the mission Miri, but Jacob is the boring one? I've never been able to bring myself to romance Miranda even when I planned to. God, she's boring. This mission is going superb Shepard. I'm perfect. I'm perfect. I'm just an expensive tool. I'm perfect. *yawn* And if your going to fan service in a turian give him some goddamn lines. You talk to him when he get on ship, to initiate loyaty quest and then after the loyalty quest. That is bare minimum. A broham can't have bare minimum dialog. And the person who was pushed aside to fit Garrus in (Zaeed) is more interesting and has more dialog without even having a conversation tree. Not to mention fan services like Tali who are romance only conversationalist. She might as well not even be on the ship if I'm not romancing her.

Mordin: Scientist Salarian
Joker and EDI: Comedic duo
Legion: Novelty item
