I want a Resto Druid. Why is there no Druid specialization in this game? I have lost faith in BioWare.
Come on. How awesome would a shapeshift-into-tree be?
- Shapeshift Morrigan into a tree
- Leave her there and never come back
- WIN!

1. Get in the tent woman.
2. Shapeshift into a bear.
3. Shapeshift Morrigan into a bear.
4. This is why mages are overpowered .

There is no need to nerf things out of class envy in a single player game.

nerf paladins imo, you have to kill them 3 times, and then they can bubble hearth, i hate blizzard and stuff.

As someone else has said, it affects the replayability of the game.I'd like to play through with different combinations of characters in my group, and not have it radically affect the difficulty of the game. Ideally, the game would be balanced for a spread of classes and roles rather than allowing 2-3 mages to just own everything and making you wonder why you have warriors in the party at all.Darkest Dreamer wrote...
Why do all the classes have to be the same power?

Since everyone agrees this is brilliant, who exactly is Rock in this scenario? That quote is referring to complaints of nerf in competitive environments. DPSers being a counter to Casters, so Casters complaining that DPSers are OP.Eduku wrote...

What on earth does that have to do with this thread?

Sounds like a pretty complex undertaking but I think I understand. I wonder if simply enhancing magic resistance all round would be plausible.

Other than that I only dislike their game choices.. They can split down every tree with out a minus, and they don't have to put 4 points in combat tactics to be effective.. Other than that I would say just team memmber choices there are 2 mages that are both opposites of one another.. 5 warriors and 2 rogues.. Two of those are easy tanks you can get form the beginning, Alister and Shale.. Other than that I am not that concerned with the other stuff..

I thought so to when I started playign the deep roads with only Wynne as a healer mage (with force field, though). But I found out that it was completely doable without the heavy mage artillery. Just don't run head first into every encounter and use bows. Unfortunately it does reveal some major problems with enemy Ai, though.Pseudo310 wrote...

It fits with the lore that mages are extremely powerful, which I think is fine in a group based single player game. And the game is obviously designed with the idea in mind that you always have a mage in your party. You even get one in Ishal if you aren't a mage yourself. That still leaves enough options for party composition imo.

They are so hard to pvp with.
Also their playbase sucks they never listen!
QFT. You all should just go back to WOW where you can whine nerf this nerf that and leave the RPG games alone. Its better for Bioware to plan new expansions, addons and a sequel than to waste time on some pointless 'rebalancing'.
epic fail of a thread
