However, for Flemeth herself, I'm with those who favor Fen'Harel. Otherwise why would she go to Marithari for the resurrection ritual.

But all the other Archdemons died in the way that the Grey Wardens believed to be the same way Dumat died. It just seems like too much of a coincidence that they mistakenly thought they killed Dumat one way that turned out to be the only way to kill an Archdemon.
Maybe there has been a Witch of the Wilds companion in every Blight. Maybe that's what Flemeth's many daughters are for.
DUN DUN DUNNNNN!!!!

Morrigan and Flemeth however will pop up over and over again.

The Andraste as a Dumat OGB is actually pretty brilliant, especially given the timelines. It could be quite possible that Flemeth was even the one who told the Grey Wardens how to kill the Archdemon.
I mean, honestly, its not quite like drinking arch demon and darkspawn blood spiked with lyrium would have been the first thing to pop in ANYONE'S mind when thinking about how to kill an constantly resurrecting dragon.
I'm leaning to Flemeth being the Old God of Mystery, as someone previously said in this (and other) threads. It makes more sense that the god of Mystery would be able to avoid being imprisoned and tainted by the darkspawn, then seeking to rebirth her bretheren as human so that they could... TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!

Too bad it doesn't matter. OGB will never be seen or mentioned again.

It's quite possible you're right. The OGB is only one of the myriad of possible outcomes of DA:O, and he never exists in many playthroughs (and since it's canonicaly a boy, I hope he never becomes the playing character of a DA game).
There's also the chance Morrigan is dead, so I hope (for the sake of not having to deal with yet another Leliana-style resurrection) that her future involvement will be limited.

I mean, for crying out loud, in my DAO playthrough Morrigan and Leliana were smashed to bits countless times by high dragons, abominations, golems, and a paragon, only to get up with a "hi, honey," after I'd cleaned up the mess. "You're welcome dear, let me heal you up with this nice blue glow and then off we are to, um, decorate your tent."

I am so glad that Leliana came back. Why? Mainly because she is such a great and beautiful character and it would have been a waste for Bioware to throw her away. But a tiny bit, also because it makes me smile at all the folks guaranteeing that she would be gone forever just because they felt that their cruel little decision was more important than Bioware's fulfilling the promise of their universe. It's Bioware's universe, and if Leliana can get up after getting smashed into a pulp by an Ogre, then she can get up by getting a sprinkle of Andraste's ashes a few days post-mortem...

You can stab her, but she falls backwards through the mirror. There's no evidence she's anything more than wounded. I'm sure they did that on purpose too. She's one of the few characters in DAO that there's never a chance to kill, and there has to be a reason. They even had a scene where you could turn her in to the templars as an apostate, but it was cut from the final release.
