1. Is there a item you can get to increase your Heal skill. I can not get Ammon to give me any info in the Instructors Quarters. It says (failure) when I try to heal him.

2. I have a elemental that was created by one of my NPC's. He will not got away. Is there a way to get rid of these things after a battle.? The noise it make is very loud and I can not here anything else.

ThanksPosted Image

Try, right click and hold down on the summoned creature until the popup menu appears and select unsummon.

I do not remember any item but you may use spells, like Greater Heroism, or a bard's inspire competence inspiration to get a bonus to your healing skill.

Nothing normal is going to work on AJ there. You're going to have to consult somebody else, somebody not normal.

No spells or skills will work on him, he's a mini-quest. You'll get the chance to ask about him in conversation with some other npc.

Thanks, got the Ammon quest done.
However, I still can not get rid of the summoned Air Elemental.
Clicking on him and holding down the right mouse button dod not give me a unsummon choice.

Do that when controlling the NPC who summoned it.

Thanks. That did not work either. Seems like even in battle he does not take very much damage. He's been around ever since I entered the classrooms for the first time.

Strange, normally the summoner can unsummon it. Did you try to rest? If neither of these work, I can't help you.

Thanks for trying.
I'm now thinking this is a bug or glitch.
None of my party has the unsummon option.
I've rested 3 times in a row. 1 full day. It's still there.
Tried using all kinds of spells. None work.
So in the event this comes up again, here's the stats on this thing

Great Air Elemental
Neutral
Challenge Rating: Effortless

Immunity: Disease
Immunity: Critical Hit
Immunity: Mind Spells
Immunity: Paralysis
Immunity: Poison
Immunity: Sneak Attack

I even tried letting only him fight after stepping through the portal that starts Act 3. He wipes the Myrkulite soldiers out in seconds and he takes no damage.

This elemental was created by one of your NPC's or was he summoned in the conversation in which you agree to demonstrate your spirit eating abilities? If the latter, then maybe you can return to the classroom and continue the conversation as it sounds like it might have been interrupted somehow.

Barring all that, try to eat it.

haha, tbh, my Unsummon command disappeared from the contextmenu also, and i really don't know why (so did my Unpolymorph, btw) If it turns out Kaldor's suggestion isn't kosher (elementals are not kosher, obviously) .. look in your contextmenu.xml (it's in TonyK's if ya have it) for stuff like this:

<UIRadialNode name="root-allies" style="BASE_RADIAL_NODE" strref="182697"
OnInit='UIObject_Misc_SetLocalVarString(local:17,"0")' >
[ ... ]
<UISubNode node="node-unsummon" />
</UIRadialNode>

<UIRadialNode name="node-unsummon" style="BASE_RADIAL_NODE" strref="1569"
OnInit='UIRadialNode_OnInit_Unsummon()'
OnLeftClickCollapsed='UIRadialNode_Mouse_ActionUnsummon()' >
<UIFrame state="base" fill="ife_bullheaded.tga" />
</UIRadialNode>

i suspect someone sometime uploaded an inedible fellowship, I mean contextmenu.xml file to the 'net; but even if so, it should be pretty easy to fix ...

EDIT ( ah, i remember: I'd conformed Tony's .xmL file and for whatever reason a space got inserted between a string and a quote-mark; that space *might* be still hanging around in the original file )

Shouldn't it be unsummoned in module transitions?
