Well at least I don't have to choose between ME3 and Skyrim to play at the end of the year. I'd rather it be ME3 that gets all the extra polish so I'm happy about this. Bioware, make this game fantastic and takE all the time you need to make it sO. Also, now they won't have to ccompete for Game of the Year awards against each other. Nice decision Bioware, nice.
Skyrim and Deus Ex 3 will keep me busy for some time, so Bioware has loads of time to polish ME3

Take your time Bioware, we will gladly wait.
I can't help but agree with this humble statement. I don't know what circumstances led to this decision but I can't imagine anyone, let alone Mass Effect's development team, to just sit and do nothing during the additional period of time. So I am happy and cheering for Mass Effect 3 even more.
(For example, Eidos Montreal was willing to make changes in Deus Ex Human Revolution in order to cater to fans' demands even during the debugging stage of the development cycle something like 4 monts before the official release of the game.)

Seriously, one dude gives you a weak "it's being delayed because of an I-phone port" excuse (how do you port a PC/360/PS3 game into I-phone without MAKING A WHOLE NEW GAME anyway?) and you buy it? And then start getting annoyed? Really, guys?
Proof, people have the right to be angry or annoyed.
It says "a mobile/handheld version of each game will be available during the same launch months as the retail versions". And both of them were originally planned for Q4 2011. So, if anything, the mobile version is being delayed because of the retail version.

It says right in the article, read it.candidate88766 wrote...
How
exaclty does this 'prove' that the delay is based around a portable
version of the game? Oh wait, the forumites have once again leapt to
distant conclusions.
Tell you what, how about you go read your own information before using this as "proof" and acting like an idiot?

Exactly. I can't help but think that they're going to rape ME in the same way they did with DA2.
I was plannig on preordering but I think I'll wait a bit now.

Really don't think that is Kaidan, armor is way to heavy for him, believe that may be Saunders.
On the release date, am saddened since the world suppose to go to hell on Dec 21, was hoping to have
a little rpg joy before then ...
It gonna end Dec 21 2012

I don't like the sound of that.
Any time a developer tries to "appeal to a larger audience" things just go wrong and the series becomes a shadow of itself.

I've been gaming since the orriginal Attari so no. And EA is far from the Devil of gaming companies. They aren't in charge of the develpoment of the game Bioware is and they didn't screw up ME 2 so I have no worries.Therefore_I_Am wrote...

Considering you're subjective view on ME2 (and that's your opinion) alot of people here would like more stuff added to it rather than seeing it unchanged or even... i'm gonna say it...... dumbed down. I just hope that Casey sticks to his guns about the gameplay, but right now all I can picture is this John Riccitiello character growing horns, and flames erupting everywhere, as he said all that.
