Ah.. Still, there are PLENTY of games to keep us occupied, people.

It's for the best.

Sweet, I actually like this, I'll have a heavier wallet come November. And ME3 SHOULD be flawless with that extra time...

In the meantime, new weapon pack for ME2 please.

Maybe they didn't have time to take DA2 criticism into account within the original time frame. Still, I hope they don't stray too far into the Blizzard model of game development.

Please people, stop with the "give it more time to be polished" crap! Alpha Protocol was delayed numerous times and how polished was that?

This isn't about polishing ME3, it is more of a business decision to appease to investors and shareholders. EA already has Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3 hitting later this year so why would they want to clutter things with ME3 in 2011? This delay is just to spread ME3 into the 2012 year, after TOR abd BF3 has been out for a while.

Of course I could be wrong but my opinion is that it is a business move, not a development move.

Screw all of you who are HAPPY that this game is getting delayed. This was easily my most anticipated game for this year

Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.Dammit.

Perhaps you should get your head out of your Kroganhole and realise that this is great news. It mean's more time to make ME3 a better game and ensure that they put all the effort they can into it. Holiday 2011 seemed way to early and this puts my heart at ease knowing it's going to take a good 2 years+ to get this game finished. Good stuff I say.

Oh and uh

I´m fine with it. At least more money for Skyrim, BF3, U3, new Hitman, new Assassins Creed, Resistance 3 and Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One.
Oh sh**, now i´m really going to have a money crisis this year.

And that first screen is beatiful. ;)

after the recent rage against short development time of DA2 it is only natural that they postponed the release...and of course because of the competition...

That means I'll play Skyrim this year.

Also this means that Mass Effect 3 will have less real competition for GOTY rewards.

More polish is always good.   Im happy enough with this, ME3 always seemed a little too soon after the second.
Top screenshot looks really nice.   Oh and yay Kaidan and Liara!!

Oh, jeez.  They'd better not, man.

Glad it's getting delayed. Rather not get a rushed game, in the meantime there's lots of other stuff to do anyway, such as ******.

Either way that gives them more time to make ME3 a better game.

And to put in exploable planets.

Right?

RIGHT!?

Remember when KotOR 2 was released? Remember how it was rushed and how they cut the entire ending from the game when it finally came out?

I'd rather have a finished product than a rushed one. So no worries. *looks at long list of games i need to play before I die*

Must admit, was rather annoyed at first, but then I realized that it was probably for the best. Bioware should take their time to bring out a truly polished game. In the meantime, I guess I'll play Skyrim, like the poster above said.
