This isn't about polishing ME3, it is more of a business decision to appease to investors and shareholders. EA already has Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3 hitting later this year so why would they want to clutter things with ME3 in 2011? This delay is just to spread ME3 into the 2012 year, after TOR abd BF3 has been out for a while.

Of course I could be wrong but my opinion is that it is a business move, not a development move.

Either way that gives them more time to make ME3 a better game.

And to put in exploable planets.

Plus this gives me more time to enjoy Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3 without having to be felt like I must dive into ME3 to finish the story. By the time March 2012 comes, BF3 and TOR would sort of be out of my system and I'll be ready for something new.

Yeah but this is Bioware and Mass effect with a good reputation.  Not Alpha Protocol and a dev with a skewed rep. Bioware isnt going to sit around and do nothing with this delay, of course they will polish it more.  They will continue to improve the game and make it a better experience.


Hey maybe now they got more time on their hands they can double check over femsheps animations :happy:

I'm pretty sure they already said its Kaidan, and the world is suppose to end on Dec 21 2012, so you'll still have plenty of time to play mass effect 3

Good news. I'd rather the team take longer than end up with a core plot as weak as ME2 or a game as technically feeble as DA2.

Best decision Bioware could make IMO. ME3 deserves as much time as possible put into development and a clear launch window to garner as much attention as possible.

Also, the second pic is incredible. Exactly the sci-fi vision that I love seeing from the ME universe.

This is good news. I just wish i started my go through with all the ME books and games later. was trying to time up going through all books games and comics in order with the release of the next book and into ME 3. Would rather have a better game though so this is good.

1st it's Sanders
2nd face says it is very much Kaidan
3rd confirmed by Bioware that's Kaidan
4th doesn't look like some guy on steroids to me
5th world will end BS in 21/12/2012

Well i'm torn.

On one hand I want Bioware to take all the time they need to make this the ultimate game in the trilogy... On the other hand I have to wait an entire year to play ME3.
