Screw all of you who are HAPPY that this game is getting delayed. This was easily my most anticipated game for this year

Yes there is a need for need. It's going to be again another 7 or 8 month wait. The only good reason for this move is the crowded Fall and Holiday release window release, because as far as dev time, it's had as long if not longer than ME 2's dev time.

Really don't think that is Kaidan, armor is way to heavy for him, believe that may be Saunders.
On the release date, am saddened since the world suppose to go to hell on Dec 21, was hoping to have
a little rpg joy before then ...
It gonna end Dec 21 2012
Still it sucks because my birthday is on the 22th of december.
Talk about a bummer.
Couldn't they have planned Doomsday for 23th of december or something...? And all this talk about that is depressive.
No, of course not! How silly can you be?!bobobo878 wrote...
Maybe they'll replace the planet scanning minigame with a planet cracking minigame
It'll be ripped out of the game and become DLC!
In order to get it, you have to pre-order Dead Space 3.

...Seriously now, although this may sound like sad news for Mass Effect fans everywhere, I have to say I’m glad that BioWare isn’t taking any shortcuts with the final epic chapter of the trilogy. We all want this to be the best possible game and I’m willing to wait for as long as it takes to guarantee that. Kudos BW. Now, as a compensation, maybe we could get a super-meaty trailer to feast our eyes on. Pretty please?

But if it helps the game I am prepared to wait for it, just bring it out in January Bioware please!

granted it gets great sales figures but it has shown that this kind of game can still very well in off periods in the year like DA2 and ME2 showed

Glad to see they pushed back ME3. There is a lot of good reasons for it on a marketing and financial point of view, but in my mind, I only care about the extra development. Keep up the good work BioWare!

1. More time to enjoy Skyrim.
2. Game needed more development time.
3. Not even 2 years after the release of ME2, the holiday quarter is a unrealistic goal.
4. I am hoping for March release, to give them as much time as possible.

It was not. It had the same development window as ME2.Da Mecca wrote...
Good, I thought it was coming out too soon anyway.
Now it has a longer development window than ME2. It can only be a good thing right?

I'm pleased with this news, shows they are serious about ME3. Extra development time never hurt any game.
And because of DA2, I more happily give them all the time they need to finish that game, just so they don't make another rushjob.
