Hmmm, both sad and happy at this news. At least it gives me plenty of time to play other games and, y'know, deal with real life in between them.

The early 2012 release actually gives me a fair bit of hope we'll see another AAP and maybe another small DLC pack for ME2 (Firepower#2 and Aegis#2 please!).

Well I for one am not happy. No other games this year interest me and I want to be freed from the anticipation so I can move on with my life. But alas. Maybe I'll get distracted and forget about it until it's released, because spending every day from now till release waiting for it will be murder.

Hmm, I guess this is great in the long run, I really was looking forward to playing ME3 this year though. Maybe BioWare will release it on my birthday. Oh, and those two screenshots are awesome.

I can't speak for the fanbase, but yes, it shocked me. You may or may not agree with some of the design decisions, but it's completely clear the game was rushed and several aspects of it suffered greatly as a result. Apparently ME3 will be spared that fate, and for that I'm immensely happy.

I've got mixed emotions about this. On the one hand, I'm sad that I'll have to wait that much longer to play ME3, but on the other, I'm glad they're taking the extra time to develop and polish the final product.
