I can see it now... With every new screenshot, we get to play "Whose Homeworld Is It, Anyway?"Sleekshinobi wrote...
That second image after the one with Kaidan, Liara and Shepard is really amazing. I wonder who's home world that is
My money's on either Earth or Thessia.

I knew and hoped that it would be delayed so the dev team wouldn't give us a rushed product.
Now i'm really into ME3.

I'm assuming BW doesn't want Star Wars: The Old Republic to compete against ME3. Last I heard, SW: TOR still had a 2011 release. That's fine by me. More time to polish ME3 and hopefully I'll have had a few months worth of game play with TOR by the time ME3 comes out.
Not exactly not 100% sure if it will be delayed

EA does need to get that Star Wars game out
That's what I'm assuming is going to happen. The release dates were too close and BW/EA didn't want two games from the same studio to compete against each other so I'm hoping SW:TOR will get released this year sometime in the late Fall 2011 and ME3 will get released sometime in mid-late Winter 2012. Not that I want TOR to be rushed out but from the videos I've seen, a lot is done and hopefuly the game is ready for release soon.

Hrmm. Well, if that's the case, I'll be playing Saints Row 3 or maybe I'll break down and buy Elder Scrolls V. I tried Elder Scrolls IV as I love Bethesda's Fallout 3 and NV but I simply lost interest in Elder Scrols IV after about 10 or so hours. Over the next 3 months, Fallout New Vegas has 3 new DLC's (one per month) coming out. DA2 team take note.

And frankly I just don't find either of them visually interesting, which is a must for the cover.
I guess they wanted to put Liara on the cover and keep the 2/1 human-to-alien ratio they had in ME1 and ME2. In which case I would have assumed they'd pick Sanders before Kaidan since he's supposed to be there for the new players, though I'm not sure if that would have been better. Personally, if it had to be a human male I'd pick Joker. He may not be a squaddie, but he's definitely a fixture of Mass Effect.

Thanks so much for taking your time with the final installment as well as including Kaidan in the cover art. <3
Let me "add one" to this, as qft.
And this makes me feel like Kaidan and Ashley are important to the plot from the very start. I haven't said proper thanks for showing Kaidan as one of the first confirmed returning chars, so let me do it now: Thank you BioWare.

I wouldn't mind Liara and Kaidan on the cover. I don't find either of them particularly interesting, but I do like their new looks in that screenshot. I'd rather have Garrus and Ashley though. I know they were both on the cover for ME1, but we didn't know who they were back then, and they could feature more prominently on the ME3 cover.Aris Ravenstar wrote...
I kind of hope that one shot isn't an indication that Kaidan and Liara are the covermates for ME3. Liara makes sense given some of the talk about how she'll have a big role, but Kaidan is dead in half the saves out there, very possibly the majority if you take the male/female gamer ratio into account and the fact that he's automatically dead for new male characters in ME2. He's also not as popular as many of the other male squadmates who can die.

Perhaps we can get a new trailer soon to satiate us?
I don't know, with the figures being cancelled and the game being delayed, regardless of how good a move it is in either case, has me seriously saddened. I just want a Mass Effect fix. Please?
Pretty please?

They do look better with their redesign, but to me Kaidan looks like Sheploo has been rubbing off on him, what with the bulkier armor and the stubble and the shorter hair. It would just feel redudant to put them together on the cover.DarthSlim108 wrote...

If I were just picking based on personal favorites, Garrus and Ashley would definitely be my choices. And it would be a nice throwback to the first cover, but with their new looks. But they've each already had one, so I guess it's someone else's turn.
I'd suggest Wrex, but he's probably just a cameo again.

My only wish i got for Bioware is that, if a Digital Delux Edition would be made, they would make sure to finalize a agreement with steam in time, so we can avoid the Steam-Signiture Edition disaster with DA2

Of course part of me is a little sad about the delay, but overall I'm glad. Keep up the great work!
Now I'll just wait for the confirmation of an uber collector's edition

Take your time. Do it right. I was always worried about the early release date, apparently meant to hit the Christmas rush, but I'd very much rather that the schedule slip *now* than see a buggy, unfinished, unpolished capstone game hit the shelves.
