While I personally prefered the tom-boyish look shes had until now, most gentlemen I assume prefer the new "pretty" version. As long as she can still drill you between the eyes at a hundred yards I don't mind. ^.^

Oh I agree with that. I'll reserve judgement until seeing the characters ingame; if that's just a casual look and there is the possibility for proper armour, then that's cool.

Indeed...I will hate Bioware for all time if they turn Ashely into the new Miranda eye candy that was worthless in combat imo. Although this new look don't exactly fit her personality I'll hold off on bashing it...They stole Aveline from my soul...I'll be damned if they steal Ashely too! There will be fires and pitch forks if shes all "Miranda-ish" if you know what I mean. Like I said...as long as shes still drilling people between the eyes at a hundred yards I'm good lol.

in response to the Liara picture...I wouldn't say that's an angry face...thats a face of determination and refusal to lose. In the case of Shepard being her partner also the determination to shield Shepard from harm since she was powerless the first time.

gotcha. 

I think KAidan totally looks like his old self. His hair got a slight change, he's clearly got some more fine lines and looks a little leaner, but that "I got this" calm is still the same as it was in ME1. 

Glad to see the first squaddie that Shepard ever met back in action.

can't wait for my dream team to be back in action

Edited to add - honestly, I'm not seeing much of a change to Kaidan's hair, other then making it more textured, so you don't have to play on super hi def and larger monitor in order to see the curls.

Once in a while is fine, and I hope this is just what she's wearing for Shepard's trial, but I'd like Ashley to actually be Ashley in ME3. Fanservice is acceptable as long as it still makes sense, but that doesn't look like something for a marine to be wearing as her main garb.

Yeah, I think, people don't think that's Kaidan because since 2007 it's the first time the character actually looks "badass". Guess he took those pointers Garrus gave him to heart.

Oh yes...more depth...despite the fact shes openly states in the first game she would never be caught dead wearing make-up or dresses or any of the sort...sure she likes poetry...that dont mean she suddenly wants to dress herself up. I swear you people act like fan service don't exist, and that EVERYTHING they do is to "add depth" to a character. Yea...having Isabella walk around with like triple D cups, no bra, a thong, and no pants adds more depth to the character. Having a blatent full screen shot of Miranda's "perfect" ass really adds depth to her character, having that ugly ****** on display for the world to see adds depth to her character.

It's not just Bioware...it's a vast ammount of video games. Women characters are always oversexualized because thats what the majority of gamers, men...like to see...sexy women. They saw how many men leaped all over Miranda and said Ashely was bland in compairison. Bioware knew Miranda's place in ME3 might be complicated given her posistion in Cerberus...so they primp up Ashely to compensate for her possible absence.

I don't know if i should call myself a gentleman... My opinion as a man: Ash didn't need a makeover. BW should makeover Miranda three times if the want, i don't care. But Ash? NO! She was always sexy, because she was not oversexualized. And i hope she wears armor in combat, she's a soldier!

Indeed...her tom-boyish appearence is what made her sexy to me...her and Aveline are the pinnecle of sexy women imo. Not every woman needs to be primped up with make-up and such...I've personally never been attracted to that sort of stuff. And if this is her new appearence for the rest of the series...then I'm nothing but disapointed.
