If this delay is just to shoehorn in a mulitplayer. Well, my sig speaks for itself.

not a bad thing, this way it will be perfect and we all have time to play skyrim and uncharted and battlefield and also it means it will be an automatic GOTY in 2012
Wonder if the delay has a little bit to do with the fact that it would be hard to compete with Skyrum and Witcher 2 for best RPG not to mention GOTY with the flood of releases this year. Nevertheless I'd rather have a good game than a rushed game...hope the delay pays off...the bugs in DA2 were annoying.

I think however that despite what they have said they just don't want to fight against Syrim and the Witcher 2 this year.

I agree that this new news doesn't sound very promising. I thought Bioware said that they were going to try and stray away from ME2 and heavy action and go back to a more heavy RPG format? They must have changed their minds again. They better not ruin ME3 so that it's hardly a RPG and just make it a shooter!!

It's good news in my books ( especially if they are going to polish the combat more ).

Skyrim is not on the same level as Mass Effect is . I would rather play ME 3 than a poor man's copy of Dragon Age Origins

Regardless of that it still is a contender ( a very strong one I guess ) for RPG and Game of the Year Awards.
I personally don't like those types of games, but quite a few people do.
Though I think the Witcher 2 is far more likely to win...it's a game that spent four years in development time, and is primarly story driven ( just like Bioware and Obsidian games ).
The guys at Bioware problably want to see how much of an impact the Witcher 2 will have....if it's really going to deliver on it's story driven by player choices ( rather then the illusion of choce we have in Bioware games ) then it's really going to ring some bells for Bioware.

The "adjust for a larger market" worries me a bit though...

Aside from the fact that they are totally different games and the only comparison you can actually use is: They both got a protagonist with attribute stats and a leveling system.
I think this comment prob takes the cake of the silly comments you've made so far, extreme...

Besides, I was already wondering where I would get the money for BF3, Skyrim AND ME3. So now I wont end up being so poor this year lol.
