It depends if it's a DLC like "Witch Hunt," like "Lair of the Shadow Broker," or "Dragon Age: Awakenings." I've seen theories on these forums that it's going to be a "regular" DLC adventure, but also include an unofficial BFP (Big Frakking Patch) that will remedy some of the complaints even those of us who enjoyed DA2 had about it (identical caves, poor "previous choice recognition," not enough conversations). I like the sound of the latter, but I've learned from ALL video game creators, not just Bioware, to not set my expectations so high.
It's DLC. It can't be too big. I felt that Shadow Broker was the limit of size ME2 DLC could get (Arrival kinda proves that). And there's only so much size this could be.
So don't expect a large engrosing story. The best it can do is have a tight well done story with great characters like Lair did. Of course, Lair didn't have to establish those characters. So...maybe the Sebestian storyline could be tight, character focused, and well done like Lair.
But I don't expect a Lair like DLC. That DLC was amazing, near perfect for DLC. Point Lookout was also near perfect. As was The Pitt (but many people disagree with that, I liked the final choice in The Pitt).
