What do you think the next DLC will be?

Give us more background on Hawke, I want to see Lothering/Ostagar. And add the Dual Wield back to the warrior damnit, just get rid of backstab and replace it with flurry or dual weapon sweep!
I don't want a pointless side mission that gives "awesome" armour and weapons.

As for Loithering, no. Hawke and sibling were only level one at the start of the game, and an adventure using only a level one Hawke would have to be phenomenally written to overcome playing a character that can't advance. Otherwise it becomes like Leliana's Song where non of your character's experience is reflected in the main game.

I do NOT want to see a "normal" DLC starring Hawke that takes place after the end of the game. Even if it was the length and quality of LotSB, it would be too short and raises the legitimate complaint that Bioware simply cut the game short to sell more DLC. If it only takes an hour or two to wrap up Hawke's adventures, why the hell wouldn't they just put it in the game itself?
Considering the save after the end of the game,
those DLC will be probably what we will get. On the other hand we did get the
same in Origins and you could play them during the main campaign... Not that I
would mind those, especially if they come with quality time with companions...

It would be awesome to actually see Starkhaven and Tantervale. On the load screens, it's mentioned that those, along with Kirkwall, are the largest cities in the Free Marches. As it turns out, the Free Marches has many other cities and regions that we've heard mentioned, but haven't seen. What a perfect time to incorporate them into DLC. A possible sidequest could be The Grand Tourney. Since a Champion is crowned at the tourney, wouldn't it be fitting if Hawke actually earned the title in a battle of skill?
Perhaps with this DLC it could be integrated within the main story, and the tourney would take place within one of the 3-year time warps. With the purchase of this new DLC, Sebastian's could just be tacked on as a freebie.
Re-posting...
Edit: Sorry, that was @kilshrek. I'm a little slow on the draw.
I see, sorry.
But I don't see Seb as free DLC any time soon.
Seems like too much effort to whip up some DLC, and then give away
another piece of DLC so's you can play the first DLC. How is anyone
going to make any money? - EA Overlord
Well, he kinda wouldn't be free anymore; he'd just be "bundled" with the new DLC. People would still pay, but it would be more of a value-added proposition.
Holy crap, I should work in marketing. Help.

No. Repeated. Maps. If Mass Effect can do it, so can Dragon Age, dagnabbit.
Some meaningful and interesting interaction with whatever NPC ends up in the DLC.

All seems to end well, but back in Lothering the people start getting angry at Hawke blaming him for provoking the darkspawn (very ungreatful!).
He gets thrown in the dungeon and the task lies with his companions to bail him out. No easy task needless to say but he gets out eventually and confronts the chantry mother who started all of this. Her being a woman suggests a dual between Hawke and Lothering's finest warrior.
Hawke wins (of course) and the score is settled. They return to Kirkwall. With lots of loot.
(I really need to stop drinking coffee so late at night)

Yes, get the mine up and running again and get coin generated every so often (sort of like Assassins Creed).

Hooray, now I get to run That Cave #235 and The Sewers/Undercity/Place With the Dripdrop Noises #102 again with random critters and a few cement blocks conventiently placed over areas I had access to before.
Why don't I just go play Diablo?

As for the Meredith/Orsino conflict....to me that just seems straight up boring. One's a mage, one's a templar. They don't like each other. I mean, what else do you want, a cat fight?
I'd much rather play a new adventure, revealing more future plot points, and closing up a couple of the hundreds left open. Just give me some closure with Hawke--you don't have to kill him or completely end his adventure as a whole, just finish whatever was started in the DLC. I really really really really hope the DLC's will be like TV shows: OMG awesome plot twist, conspiracy, giant BOSS thingie--
to be continued. in a few months.

Let's pretend I have the desire to use my almighty power to make the DLC whatever story you want to be pursued. What kinds of stories/plots would you like to see continued on or opened up? Or would you rather some completely unrelated adventure that explores something brand new? Discussion battle is go!
I want something that increases replay value. Whatever coming post Act 3 should be bigger than just 1-2 hours, leave that for a full expansion or DA3.
I want any future dlc to build on the established story:
- Something to explain Orsino's actions would be nice.
- What is the story with Lady Elegant and Worthy?
- What are the Wardens up to?
- More about Nightingale and the Divine.
- What about exploring the qunari shipwreck?
- Starkhaven.
- More about the Act 1 smugglers, possibly as a romanceable companion.
- More about the lost thaig. It felt short for its importance
- Something that builds up to DA3.
Future dlcs needs:
- Meaningful choices.
- Chatty companions.
- a new area. Someone mentioned Kirkwall Midtown, which is a good idea.
- a new non-DA:O monster.
I dont want something entirely new. I can get Witcher 2 for that.

DLC worked for ME2 very well because the game FELT complete; therefore any DLC feels like a post development add-on.
With DA2; the game does not FEEL complete. It is short, it abruptly goes off onto the tangent that is Act 3, it abruptly ends said tangent about 5 to 10 hours of gameplay before it ought to have, and it ends it in such a way as to make you FEEL like no matter what you did during the game your choices really didnt matter at all.
Therefore DLC is inevitably, fairly or unfairly, going to come up against the accusation that it is cut content that should have been in the game at release and people are going to resent paying for it; which will damage sales even more which is something I am sure BW dont want.
DAO shifted around 3.5 million copies world wide. Bioware expected to shift at least 4 million copies of DA2; it is my belief that since BW have barely scraped 2 million copies with this game there are likely a heck of a lot of manufactured copies sitting collecting dust in a warehouse somewhere.
In order to shift these extra copies, and perhaps embark on another printing run of DA2, BW are going to have to fill in the gaps in the game (an example would be to pad out the Act 3 storyline or to add more areas and maps ot the main game so we arent visiting the same 10 areas for every quest) and DLC just isnt going to cut it to achieve this.
A full expansion is really what is needed; and THEN work on a shed load of DLC.
Without an expansion to fill in the holes and gaps of this game (which I do like btw!) I dont see myself buying any DLC for it (and I bought pretty much all of the DAO and ME1/ME2 DLC). I really dont.
Just my opinion tho.

I co-sign this entire statement. I would also like to add that the area I most hope you decide to add is the Kirkwall Circle, though Midtown and Starkhaven would also be great.
