Kaiden in ME3, my Fem-Shep is conflicted...

My man-Shep messed around with Liara in ME1 and then she dumped him effectively in ME2 but then there were no regrets as he moved on with his inter-galactic love life and got with Tali. Worked great, everyone is happy! I hope I can get out of any sort of romantic relationship with Kaiden just as easily in ME3 as Garrus is much more suited for my Fem-Shep.
Will anyone else have any sorts of love triangles that may create conflict in ME3 with this probable news that Kaiden is a squad mate in ME3?
P.S.
At least I think that's Kaiden... he has a pretty big gun for some wimpy sentinel...

I find these two threads offer me a combination of solace and heartbreak when contemplating this momentous decision. Collectively, those bastards have made this decision much, much harder.

I totally have love triangles. I'm famous for them.
That a good read, CGG! I wasn't expecting that.

I am quite curious as to how they'll play it. I'm hoping for a U MAD BRO response to ME1 love interests if they want to cry about it.

Eh, I romanced Kaidan in ME1, but even if Thane bites the dust in ME3, I'll be more than happy to give him a send-off.
Who is the "him" in this sentence? Thane or Kaiden?

2. why do people romance characters that they don't like?
3. I'm sure bioware will give us a choice between LI's. I would rather it was impossible to get back your ME1 LI, if you had moved on, but I don't think I'll be getting my wish.
4. I have one femshep that started out as conflicted. I waver with her, between staying conflicted and moving on with no reservations. ME3 will tell how she will end up. (its between Kaidan and Jacob, in that case)

Choose Drell...Everyone Else Can Burn in Hell
Kaiden...was the short end of the stick where FemShep is concerned.

oh really? Kaidan's romance is still my favorite (when I said not my personal favorite - I meant renegading him, I prefer Kaidan as a paragon character) and as far as Thane... it took me a long time and a certain degree of stubborness to figure out a femshep that would find him atractive. if not for the fact that I wanted another adept who looked different from my other femsheps? Thane would have been the only romance I've never personaly finished and only seen on yourtube. on a personal level? I feel that he is the worst romance in the entire game and that includes maleshep romances.
your mileage may varry and all that.
oh and its KaidAAAAAAAAAAn

So I tried to cheat with Samara and well, we all know how that turned out. Basically, come ME3 he better have a damn good excuse for Horizon or he can GTFO.

I romanced Kaidan in ME1 and stayed loyal. Garrus was tempting for a few seconds but he is...kinda lizardy. It was told like, what, ages ago that if you "cheat" on your ME1 LI then there will be reprocutions so why QQ about it now? Just re-play ME1 withouth romancing anyone if it bothers you that much. Just another Kaidan-hate thread in discuise IMO.

I did it because I wanted to see how the romances for those characters go. Granted, some stuff is on youtube, but that's usually just the final scene. Didn't make me like them more...but oh well.jeweledleah wrote...

I don't have a character with a love-traingle going on, but I was tempted to view Horizon as a break-up between one of my Shepards and Ashley and go for Jack. That wasn't necessary, though, as I still had one who didn't romance anyone in ME1. Though I'm interested in how severe the consequences for having a LI in both games will be in ME3...hopefully it'll be more than a "uh...okay then, Shepard, you choose now and that'll be it".

Plus remember the little email saying sorry or whatever after horizon?! What a pansy!
Because men who write emails explaining their feelings and apologizing for when they get mad to women clandestinely working half-way across the galaxy are clearly wimps who deserve to be dumped.

Clearly he must be a drone with no feelings and drop his stuff to work with a person who is working with a group he despises.
Of course he's not a drone, Mr. House! Because you see, Kaidan is such an emotional whiner that he deserves to be shot.

I don't hate Garrus. He's a cool dude. But in terms of being "better written," and, "more interesting," I definitely disagree. If only Kaidan had some development in ME2....
Of course, I'm bias. Don't mind me.
