Now here is the loaded question:
Without spoiling any of the game for me, could someone tell me the reccommended order of doing the DLC along with the actual standard game.
I usually like to play through the content in the game in their proper order.
For example, for those of you who played Mass Effect 2, I waited until after I beat the game to do Lair of the Shadowbroker. Despite having the abillity to do those DLC mission midway through the game, I chose to hold off on doing them as that is want Bioware intended in terms of story of Mass Effect.
Anyways, I'm thinking the same deal here. Is there a certain order I should tackle this game? I personally have no clue about anything in this game (in terms of story), remained totally unspoiled somehow, and don't want to look up anything in fear of getting something spoiled.
TL;DR: Just got Ultimate Edition. What order (storywise) should I do everything in (Main story, DLC, etc)? No spoilers please.

Return to Ostagar, Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner can be done during the storyline of DAO. I usually do these after a certain point, but it's your call.
When you know a bit of the basics, you can try Leliana's Song. Do things right and you get a nice reward that you can use in DAO.
Also, when you complete Darkspawn Chronicles you get a very nice reward you can use in DAO.
I tried using not too many spoilers. But pointing out that you can get some nice rewards isn't considered spoiling... right? If it is, then it doesn't hurt much, right?

I did a bit more research and I found out that Leliana's Song and the Darkspawn Chornicles are stand alone-esque campaigns. Seeing as there are rewards in the "main" campaign for doing these adventures, should I be in any sort of rush to do them?

Darkspawn Chronicles is just a "What If?" scenario that shows how events would've gone had The Warden died in The Joining. It really had no connection to the canon events of Origins.
Also, since you get a brand new party member for Stone Prisoner, I'd suggest doing that as soon as possible.

Also, would starting off with the Darkspawn Chronicles be a bad idea? If it is a retelling, then it wouldn't matter, right? Unless it would it be more beneficial to get through the main game and learn the in's and out's of the Dragon Age world.
I planned to do Leliana's Song and Darkspawn Chronicles first. If that's not a good idea, please tell me so!

Well that side of her is a pretty big spoiler about her character, so it's not best to do it first.gamerkim28 wrote...

It has a spoiler for the end of the game, but most likely, you'll forget the spoiler by the time you get to that point.gamerkim28 wrote...

As for Darkspawn Chronicles, do you personally suggest doing it after I beat Origins/Awakening? How does anyone else feel about it?

It does clear up a little about her past though.GSSAGE7 wrote...

Truly, it is the choice of the player. Do you want to know a little bit more about this person? Or do you want to stall it until you're somewhat deeper in the story? I myself didn't know what was going on when these "events" related to Leliana's Song happend in DAO. Leliana's Song cleared up a lot for me.
On the other hand, it contains a lot of spoilers about that personage. It doesn't really spoil a lot about the person she is in DAO (in my opinion, there's a huge difference between both). But storywise, it might be better to just skip it until after her personal quest.
Still, it's up to you, gamerkim.
Depends. As for Darkspawn Chronicles, do you personally suggest doing it after I beat Origins/Awakening? How does anyone else feel about it?
Darkspawn Chronicles also contains things that I consider spoilers. That mainly includes spoilers in the codexes and you get a taste of how the final battle would be like. It also shows you choices that you have to make at some points in the game. Of course, these points aren't consistent with yours. But it gives you a taste of what you could choose.
If I were you, I'd play it after having finished DAO.
I mainly tried to define both the DLC's as good places for rewards... Should've thought better. But how can one think properly when it is around 1 o'clock in the night and you're pretty darn tired?

You can create a new character for all of them, although they would likely be at a lower level than if you went through the long way.Methos Darklighter wrote...
I have a related question about the DLC. I only care about getting the reward items from the campaign DLC's. Can I do Witch Hunt without finishing Origins or even starting Awakening? And do I need to finish Origins in order to start Golems of Amgarrak, or do I just need my Warden to be level 20?
For instance, you start Witch Hunt at level 20 if you create a new character. I had a character I brought from Origins, to Awakening, to Witch Hunt, at level 34.
