When you get the Iron Bark and have Varathorn make you something, which is better?  I should have saved and compared but I jumped at the Bow.

dunno bow.. but breatplate was decent... to bad it was medium armor

what is the amulets stats? and he said he would make me a blade > he never mentioned a bow when he asked me to get the bark...i wanted an epic dagger to go with epic starfang

Is the amulet good? Damn I should have saved first. Idiot I am. Oh well the Wolf Killer it is. It's not a bad bow.

And what are the stats on the bow?

Its a longbow with plus 6 to attack. I think it's like 11 base damage. Pretty good range. I cant remember more. It's called The Wolf Killer

Sounds at least worth looking at! I'm very committed to bows with rapid aim though.

If your persuasion is high enough you can get both. I did, but found that the breastplate is better.

What's the deal with the plate? Is there any matching items to complete a set?

The bow is also +8 dmg to Beasts I think.

I always pick the bow considering... where you are headed to next.

There's already a ton of better plate armor in the game, not as many bows with high base damage. I'd go with the bow if I had to choose.

The breastplate, you can sell it for more money.
