Yes, DA:RtP was a pretty mediocre game and a sheer disappointment and kick in the nuts for cRPG fans, but we all know that Bioware can do better and as much as I hate DA:RtP, I will be among the first to buy DA3 if it becomes as good as it used to be.
Just stop trying to cater to the CoD crowd or basically any crowd besides RPG players. And Mike, stop hating at us, thanks.

edit: I also hope that it won't be reduced to the continuation of the spin offs such as Legends.

Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello says...
The first, he said, is pushing EA's stable of popular IP, including FIFA, Madden, Battlefield, Need for Speed, The Sims, Tetris, Dragon Age and other titles.
"We fully intend to make these properties into year-round businesses that lead their sectors across a range of platforms," Riccitiello said.
Basically, it's not BioWare's fault -- it's EA.

No, you'll see dragon age 3-10 with monthly episodes of 15 minutes of gameplay after install, advertisements, and setup.

Yeah, but people here are accusing BioWare of ruining a great series. But this shows us officially official that the EA's CEO does a magnificent job, doesn't he? Milking and destroying a great series.

And that's it. BioWare is officially dead as far as I'm concerned. My very brief willingness to buy EA titles is over.
Not a fan of his service>package approach, I take it?

You mean the IP that was touted as a franchise before the first game even came out is a franchise? I am shocked.
I know I'm certainly looking forward to a sequel for Origins.

You wish.
Get ready for Dragon Age:MMORPG (minus the R) as EA tries to wrest the WOW teat from Blizzard.

People used to call this kind of comment conspiracy theorizing and unfounded. But now? Well we have the lead developer specifically talking about multiplayer, and we have the CEO saying they fully intend to make this into a year-around service.KilrB wrote...

No we won't. Because, as the numbers for DA2 show, people will simply stop buying them.

Funny, i had just read an article in EGM saying that publishers, as they currently exist, would become obsolete because of talent. [/quote]
Summarize please. Sounds interesting.

People will keep buying them, just that within 5 years, DA5 will look more like "Grand Theft Auto with Swords" than DA:O, and it will be an entirely different crowd of players buying the game.Rebecca Black likes DA2 wrote...
