I only saw one other thread on this and it was just bad jokes.
Did anyone name them something that's not a bad joke or celeb name??

My mage Is Darius.
My Warrior Cormac.
I miss playing an elf, I usually make an elf rogue called Vhaeraun that was my elven warden's name.
Best rogue name I came up with was Vincent for some reason.

My first character, a warrior, was Julia.

My second, a rogue, was Relena.

My current, a mage, is Marcus.

Sarah, so I could pretend everyone in Kirkwall just had a funny way of pronouncing it.

It didn't go so well. I'm not kicking the wall, damnit.

So far, my mage Hawke is Vergil, but even with the i to e spelling shift, it might be a little too Tevinter-y. I'd like to use "Geoffry", but that sounds too close to "Bethany".

I name my male rogues Aeven, my female rogues are Caoimhe.

Male mages are usually Lorne, though I have one Garrett who is doing actions I wouldn't want Lorne to do. Female mages . . . I haven't made one yet, but will probably be Laetia when I do.

Male warriors are Sionn, female warriors are Sorcha.

My canon is a female rogue named Kitty... short for Katherine, I suppose.  It started as a joke (Kitty Hawke... dohohoho), and I named her mabari Wright, because it amused me.

I also have Vivian (mage), Gemma (warrior), Briar (mage), and Charlotte (warrior, but I'll be replaying her as an archer rogue).  Whenever I get around to playing a male Hawke, his name will be Silas.

LOL.  Or maybe you are...in your sleep

My mage Hawke is Natale.  And since I'm honestly having trouble playing a Hawke other than her, that's it.

My warrior Hawke's name is Calanthe.
My mage, on the other hand, goes by Ravenna.
They're both female.

In the case of the former, 'Calanthe' (yes, you do pronounce the 'e' at the end) is a genus of terrestrial orchids. They're quite lovely. The name popped into my head while I was on my way to work one day, and it stuck.

Ravenna started out with black hair, hence the name. I'm so creative, I know.
/sarcasm

When I play a male Hawke, he's almost a rogue. I let him keep the 'Garrett' default.
Because Thief was an awesome series.

My mage Hawke is named Ebony, because the first BioWare game I ever played was KOTOR, and I wanted a call back to that, and I thought Ebony Hawke was a cute play on Ebon Hawk (and yes, she has black hair, so original, I know).

My next playthrough, I'm going to play a rogue named either Bree or Miri, because I think those are names that will go with the playful nature of sarcastic Hawke, and fit with an archer, too.

Oh, and I named my mabari Wolfe. Because, after all, without wings he can't be a Hawke.

I was stumped for first character's name so she is Ashley (my name) The Warrior Princess

Then it goes something like..

Rogue Assassin: Apsalar (kudos and cookies if you get the reference)
Spirit Healer: Katy
Reaver: Amber (aka Pinky McPunk!Hawke)
Force Mage: Daniel (figured a name that means "god is my judge" suited a mage in Kirkwall)
Rogue 2: Jack
Mage of Mass Destruction: Gina

I almost named my spirit healer Kitty Hawke before settling on Katy as a less punny name :)

Heh heh, the assassin girl who was possessed by Cotillion or the rope in the Malazan books of the fallen.... I could go on but I think that proves I get the reference.

Ace Hawke, the snarky, flippant, blasé rogue. Ace was a nickname imparted by her father.
Adele Hawke, the sweet and somewhat naive warrior with a big-ass sword.
Amelia Hawke, the ridiculously cheerful mage who finds bowling people over with Force magic hysterical.
Anna Hawke, the grumpy-ass warrior who can only be cheered up by a good round of face-punching.
Leo Hawke, the suave, conniving sex-god archer of the Free Marches. At least, that's what we tell him.
