Sarella, named after Sarella the Sand snake, the Red Vipers Bastard daughter from the captain of some ship who's name I can't remember. She's a rogue, obviously.

Rogue Assassin: Apsalar (kudos and cookies if you get the reference)
Heh heh, the assassin girl who was possessed by Cotillion or the rope in the Malazan books of the fallen.... I could go on but I think that proves I get the reference.
Kudos and cookies for you

My character names seem to have fallen into a pattern these days for all my games.
For DA2 at the moment I have:
Ripley Hawke (Rogue)
Shepard Hawke (2H Warrior)
Arya Hawke (Mage - shame I can't summon a Direwolf instead of a Mabari

My canon is a female rogue named Kitty... short for Katherine, I suppose. It started as a joke (Kitty Hawke... dohohoho), and I named her mabari Wright, because it amused me.
I almost named my spirit healer Kitty Hawke before settling on Katy as a less punny name![]()
I also wanted to go there, but couldn't quite bring myself to it, so ended up with one called 'Kitt'.

First character named Arienn. No idea why I got that name in my head, but now I cannot change it.

I named my first Hawke, a mage, Faye in analogy to Morgan le Fey.
My second Hawke, a warrior, was called Corwyn.
Last but not least my rogue answers to the name of Nimue, another character of the Arthurian legend.
Funny thing is, that the first name of my Shepard in Mass Effect is Jenny, plain and simple. LOL.

I use the same 4 female names regardless of what game I play depending on the class. All throw backs to the very first long term D&D campaign I was in (damn...did I just flash my age?)
Tanks = Vhardamis
Mages = Vellesca
Rogues = Vashe
Healers =Vayna

Minerva Hawke, the abrupt, aggressive rogue who means business. And that usually means the business end of her blade. If you want coddling, look elsewhere. However, she has a soft spot for mages because of her sister and she doesn't like seeing them thrown into the Circle by force.
... And maybe there's another reason for her soft-spot.

She's in my avatar too, but after getting back from the Deeproads she decided to lose the pigtails and sport a chic new 'do.

Sort of a celebrity name I guess, but I went with Philippa after the New Zealand singer Ladyhawke (her real name). But I thought it suited anyway and wouldn't be anachronistic.

Lear - Hawke 1, male mage
Lillian - Hawke 2, female rogue
Lobelia - Hawke 3, female mage
I like names that start with L, apparently. One of these days I'll make a 2H warrior as well.

Eden Hawke; female elemental mage. Good-natured and compassionate, but proud, hypocritical and not to be crossed. Rivalmancing Fenris.
Jezebel Hawke; female two-handed warrior. Hot-headed and aggressive, but has a heart of gold and puts family and friends first. Romancing Anders.
Campbell Hawke; male archer. cocky, grumpy and arrogant, but soft-centered. Romancing Merrill.
Rem Hawke, male sword-and-sheild warrior. Aggressive, angsty, he has little friends outside of his own family and doesn't believe he needs anyone. Also in the closet. Rivalmancing Anders.
Rem is called 'Landen' according to his savefile; I entered Rem originally into the name box but then changed my mind last minute and changed it to Landen. I thought I could go to the Emporium and change it back to Rem, but it wouldn't let me. :/ So game-playthrough-wise he's still listed as Landen, but in my head he's always Rem or Remmy.
I still need a female rogue and a male mage. D:

I only have one so far; my rogue, Elisa Hawke.
Next playthrough I'm going to make a mage named Richard Hawke (named after Richie from It by Stephen King).
