"Superior" and "better" are opinions based on what an individual values. If people have high values for price, reliability, and ease of use, and lower values for things like graphics, then consoles are superior. What you said just simply isn't fact, and claiming such makes your argument invalid.

Price - PC games are cheaper than console games on average.
Reliability - Nothing is more reliable than ones own self if you build your own gaming machine. Red ring of death? PS network being hacked?
Ease of Use - I imagine you're using a PC to type that useless post. Easy, right?
Selection - PC has the widest range of games and exclusives by an extreme margin. It's not even close.

You are exactly what this thread is talking about.  You might not think its elitism but your talking down to anyone who doesn't use a PC or worship it from the sound of things.

I'm not talking down, I'm having a discussion. If you feel self-conscious then that's nobody's fault but your own. If you can't  hear a debate without going, "Oh, poor me" - then that's something you need to address.

I own all gaming platforms. I have an opinion about which is, clearly, the best. Try to not be insulted at the drop of a hat in the future.

Yes here you need virus protection, it doesn't come installed on a PC period, you have to buy it. Which cheapest I've seen is $60 a year. .

Avast anti virus completely free and better than anything you could pay for.

Maybe, if this was the 1990's. But today there is plenty of free AV software which performs on par with commercial alternatives; there really is no need for a private user to pay for AV. Don't believe me? Then find me any recent test that doesn't place MSE in the top 5.

And as to the Muffion, here they don't a rebuilt here is lucky to have one ****in Gig. And most of the companies here charge absurd amounts for more, why I buy all the sticks and such I need from Comp USA.

These days even comupters built for surfing and word processing generally come with 2 gigs of RAM, never mind a gaming rig. Not that it really matters, as you're almost always better off putting your gaming PC together yourself. Oh, and newegg.com has 4 gigs of DDR3 RAM for less than $50, and free deliveries to all of the US.

And I have yet to see one PC for sale that even had a GFX driver around me, and I'm not talking about in the boon docks here. I'm talking of the Cities in the Traid area, or in Wilmington. NC is not a PC friendly location.

You might not have heard, but there is this new thing called the internet. You can order PC parts there, and then they deliver them to you, even if you  do live in the sticks. And again, the term you are looking for is graphics card, the driver is the software that controls the card.

I'm a console user. The difference between us is that I'm knowledgable about computers as well. As it stands, I'm more informed and if you wish to debate this topic - get informed. If you do, I'll wager that you'll end up agreeing with me. You can label it elitism but you wouldn't call an attorney an elitist at a trial. Well, YOU might.

You are completely missing the point... and once again someone insulting my intelligence to try and make themselves look good.  seriously is 99% of people on these forums trolls?  PC may be in FACT a superior machine (never mind the fact that a console is just a computer with a different package)  but by constantly going off on how SUPERIOR PCs are your coming off as a jack ass.

1000 Euro's at Current Rates is 1433.33 USD. So thanks for proving my point. Also 640 Euro's in three years is, 917.44 USD at current rates, so thanks again. 

You're welcome. Guess we simply have a completely different view of how much money is a lot. To me, 640€ is less than half of a monthly paycheck. Divide that into the course of 3 years...LOL?
