First of all, let me say that Dragon Age: Origins has been a great experience.  Any minor frustrations or criticisms listed below are not an indication that I am not very pleased with the end result.

Ok, here are some things I'd enjoy seeing down the road:

One of the hardest things for me transitioning from BG saga to NWN was going from five companions to one.  Eventually, NWN increased this number, and I was very happy that DA:O started with three companions.  That said, I'd really like them to increase this to five if possible.  There is room on the screen for two more portraits, and I don't think it would make nightmare too easy.  I think it would be great to have a party that size...where every major choice has the potential to start a debate if you don't keep order.

I'd be willing to pay $30+ for an expansion that implemented this...partially because I'd want it to include new party members (a new mage and rogue are badly needed...I'm tired of being forced to replay again and again with the same two mages or rogues when there are so many warriors to spend time seeing how they react to different situations: And, even more frustratingly, two of them are buried quite deeply into the plot, so a party build based on Wynne or Zev has to wait quite awhile) and that would require new voice actors and quite a bit of writing.

Another thing worth mentioning is something I loved about NWN: The ease of the character exporter.  What frustrated me most about Fallout 3's DLC was that so much of it required a new playthrough to get a truely immersive feeling, because it kept altering the original campaign.  The final DLC was much better IMO, because it let you continue on after.  That said, NWN did it so much better.  You really could take your character and all the gear you'd gotten and go off on another quest.

If all the DLC we get is in the same vein as Warden's Keep...where we're either forced to start a new playthrough or be artificially dragged back to "just before the climactic battle"...I think it will have been a missed opportunity.  NWN's mechanic gave you complete freedom to play any module as a continuation of your much loved character, or start a brand new one.

I'd be interested to hear some feedback, especially if there is anyone out there who completely disagrees and DOES want DLC to continue modifying the original campaign instead of going to to new adventures.

Also, completely different subject...forgive me if this has been answered...why does the dragon armour look like it's only been rendered to Sims 2 standards?  I'm running it on pretty high settings...every armour set in the game is beautiful except the Blood Dragon armour...is it going to look worse in ME2 as well?
