I just recently ordered this game because I've read good things about it and haven't been too impressed with the general releases at game stores lately. I thought I'd go with some older classic games instead. Anyways, I'm not dead set on graphics, but I do love to play a game with decent graphics.
Is there some popular games you'd compare the graphics to this game? They can't be that horrible, can they?
How are the graphics in this game?

This game may be the best of Bioware's recently, they spend about 4 or 5 years on it.Graphics are ok and it has deep and very good gameplay.

Honestly, I still play KOTOR semi-regularly, and I don't think the graphics are really all that bad. I think that if you take into account its age (or even if you don't), the game has some genuinely beautiful areas. If you aren't expecting 2011 graphics from a 2003 game, then you'll enjoy it.
Even if you can't stand the graphics, a few minutes of playing will get you into the story and make you forget about what everything looks like

The graphic design is incredibly good, which goes a long way to make up for the lower polygon count.
However, I have been unable to get this game to run under Windows 7, even following all the various instructions online. Sangy, you may find it works fine but you also may find you can't run it at all.
It works great under Linux (using WINE obviously) but only if you turn off some of the effects and the movies which does make it less pretty.
