 Ok so I've dome some forum lurking and I can only find people saying that their DLC either wont install or just wont show up in the DLC area of the start up menu.

Well my DLC did install and it shows up in the DLC on my bioware account as registered and on the DLC list in the game at the start menu. The black emporium on the DLC list in game has a * on it and it says unauthorized? But I have a full payed steam version? 

However when I log into the game, the black emporium does not show up at all on the map and my writing desk is empty. The content just doesn't seem to exist in my game even after registration and a drama free install..

Although my EA email (game account) is different to my bioware email account to which I downloaded the DLC on.. So.. does this mean I have stupidly registered my DLC to a different email address therefore a non existant game account? That's the only reason I can think of for it not working. Either that or you have to start a new game for it to take effect?

If your email address for DA2 login uses the same email address as your forum account just go to Profile/my registered game content and see if it is there. If it is, the game may not be connecting to the login server to authorise your dlc, like many people here... I hope you enjoy the long wait, as EA procrastinates and navel gazes.
