The special missions aren't progressing.  Apparently, I've run into this bug:

Is there any way for me to fix my save file?  I don't really want to revert back to a save that's 5 or 6 days old and re-do all the areas I've finished.

Sure there's a way .. i Remember looking into this a few months ago, but didn't come to any firm conclusions. To fix it would take a fair bit of detailed info & guesswork; i suggest having a look at what I wrote in that other thread and comparing it to the ' globals.xml ' file in your saveGame folder (make a backup before toying around)

i *believe* one of the Mission_Outcomes has stalled, probably at Value zero (or less likely, the stalled mission does not have its entries at all). If you search globals.xml for the highest-ranked Mission, and set its Mission_Outcome (getting its 'name' right) to a value above 0 (zero) ....
