Okay I´ve seen some people mentioning that when you import saves from DAO, awakening and other DLC:s, there can be bugs with the game not recognizing the romance the warden had with someone. Still the game can mention something about romances with either alistair, leliana or zevran.

What about morrigan? Some people say DA2 doesnt recognize romance with morrigan etc. Is there supposed to be some scene that mentions something about this romance and its just bugged at the moment. If so what scene is it?
I want to know if I have missed something in my playthroughs.

It never gets mentioned that I have seen, but information is supposed to be imported (the bug can make it not)

So it might come up later on.

Only mention that I've ever heard ingame about Morrigan, is when you go to the altar on Sundermount with Merril..

Yeah, the only reference to Morrigan in DA2 comes from one line in the prologue where Flemeth makes a reference to Morrigan and then later at Sundermount.

Thats it though, there aren't any references or anything regarding a Warden that romanced her or anything of the sort. That is, unless there is some reference but we don't know about it because the import being buggy causes something to not trigger.

I don't really recall anywhere a reference to the Warden and Morrigan would fit in. So I doubt it's a bug. I thought it would have been cool if Merril's reconstructing the mirror would have had some minor appearance by Morrigan and, if he followed her through, the Hero of Ferelden. Something of having Morrigan say "nope, not time yet" and shatter the mirror Merril worked so long to restore. ;)

But yeah, no reference to it, but I don't think it's a bug. Just nowhere that referencing it would fit in the story.

That was what I was hoping from throughout my entire 1st playthrough. I think it was rather cruel that the devs couldn't even throw in a glimse of them. Wouldn't have taken much.

well, I'm not really sure how that fit into the conversations and with whom?

With Leliana, Alistair, and Zevran you meet them and can talk to them, not Morrigan

How would it fit into the conversation? Would Flemeth all of a sudden without prompting tell you how Morrigan and the Hero of Ferelden are lovers? Would she even know or care?

The only way I could see it mentioned is if they had included a mention of it with a scowl from Flemeth if your save data entails you killed her for Morrigan.  She could be a bit grumpy about "the man my daughter chose....he killed me, after all."

Beyond that, I'm not too heartbroken it wasn't mentioned.  Not everything in one kingdom need impact another.

Morrigan's romance doesn't get a mention as far as I am aware, but I suspect it probably would have been bugged anyway if it was refrenced. Not only was DAO bugged as far as the romance goes (when Morrigan goes back to friendly if you talk to her about the the dark ritual before the final battle) but the import system in DA 2 results in your DAO romance not being recognized if you imported Awakening or DLC saves.

DA2 recognized my WH flag of Mrrigan and the Warden going through the eluvian together. So it didn't seem bugged to me. Can't speak for other DLC saves though.

It would make sense to only/at least recognize the WH save though, as it was the last Origins chapter of Morrigans story.

From what I have read from dragon age wiki, there´s supposed to be mentions about the ritual with morrigan, did the warden leave with her and other things regarding about the decisions made in the end of DAO etc. in the codex "study of the fifth blight. vol 2", but because of some bug, the codex wont tell us much

I don't mind that it wasn't mentioned, but I wish there was some way to check and edit the game state from imported files... if they just let you check a series of boxes to tailor your import, it would make up for the bugs. I mean sure, it's not conducive to multiple playthroughs of the previous games, but it's not our fault that they can't get the import issues sorted out. I still don't have one DA2 file that properly represents my supposed "canon" DA:O run... the Architect is always alive, and that pretty much ruins the whole thing. I wouldn't be surprised if Morrigan comes into play in DA3, and then I'll realize that the plot flags didn't work and her history with the Warden's history has changed.

It just sucks to realize these things late into a playthrough... I'm sure Zevran or Leliana fans were not pleased by this surprise after investing however much time in the first run.

I'm surprised there is no mention of Morrigan, considering the Chantry placed a bounty on Morrigan because they suspect she's a blood mage for the Orlesian Warden (although I suppose a romanced Hero of Ferelden with the Amaranthine army at his command would have taken issue with that). I would imagine the Hero of Ferelden returning to the nation after his venture into the Eluvian with a known apostate and his child would get people talking (since King Alistair expects the Hero of Ferelden to be in Denerim by the seventh year Hawke is in Kirkwall).

Hmm... I didn't realize that stuff was supposed to be in that codex.

Really, there are a ton of ways they could have even made a small reference to Morrigan/Warden and possibly the Eluvian or the OGB. Just have a random chatter from one of the drunks in the Hanged Man muttering how he heard the Hero of Ferelden scurried off with a Witch of the Wilds followed by another drunk saying thats a load of BS or something.

Or even one of the Wardens you meet like Nathaniel say how the Warden Commander never returned after going off to look for Morrigan. It wouldn't have to be anything big, but some confirmation of your past choices with Morrigan would have been nice.

And then of course you have the whole timeline mess with Alistair/Teagan saying the Hero of Ferelden returned...ugh.
