I have seen all the Star Wars movies .  We will disagree on that but  we can discuss that some where else if you would like

I'm not going to knock it if you like Attack of the Clones. Its the only Star Wars film I don't like and has generally recieved the worst review for any of the Star Wars films.

Also, you have to admit that Lucas is pumping out so much Star Wars stuff that the name is starting to lose the grandeur it once had.

I totally agree with you on that point about too much Star Wars stuff . I like Revenge of The Sith the most of all out of the prequels

Its the best one since Empire easily. Its just that Lucas seem intent on bringing the franchise down by putting a Star Wars label on anything that he can.

what the hell was the point of Mass Effect 2 now . I

That's what you get for trying to be in the Cerberus Fanclub.

*snip*

Come on now, ExtremeOne, give me your delicious tears.

well it just goes to show Star Wars and Star Trek have much better stories than Mass Effect ever will have .  Plus the Cerberus evil turn is stupid and makes no sense .

..and lo did the Reapers say ""All your Cerberus are belong to us"

While I dislike Bioware's reason for the evil turn in 3 . I will still save Earth and humanity in 3 .  I would never let some alien force burn My home planet and kill millions of humans .  I am a pro human loyalist no matter the uniform

Since
it says, 'worst' possible time, I'm assuming it's referring to one
particular moment that is the worst in the game, which makes the whole
thing lame.

And I'm saying your assumption is
poorly grounded as the entire game could be considered the worst
possible time.  I mean, love-life troubles at any point during a Reaper invasion?  Sounds like bad timing to me.

Okay...so let it happen earlier...it's still lame to have a catfight for Shepard while the world is ending...

I'm with you there. I know that if my entire civilisation was threatened by force I had dedicated my life to defeating, personal drama would be the last thing on my mind.

I wouldn't put it past TIM to work with the Reapers in order to find out how to kill them.

Work with Reapers -> Weaken Council races significantly (or outright obliterate them) -> Kill Reapers (easier said than done of course; CB possibly plays a role here) -> Establish humanity as dominant race in the galaxy

It would be an incredibly risky move on Cerberus' part, but the pay-off would be great.

Except that Earth seems to be worse off than the other homeworlds. The salarian one is totally reaper-free from what this article tells us.

To everyone complaining about the lack of new LIs - ME isn't a dating sim, its a game about galactic war. Besides, you've had the choice of 5 LIs already per gender.

You are forgetting about new players wanting to join the bandwagon.  Also, by not having new love interests you break BioWare tradition.  NO ONE ever said ME was dating service, romance gives the game more heart.

Also, you are an idiot to think that love can't work in war.  IT'S FICTION, Bioware can do what they want, this isn't REALITY.  And to further clarify,  love and romance CAN bloom in war and on the battlefield, METAL GEAR SOLID proved that.

If they won't let me ally with Cerberus and TIM in ME3 then I'll just go work for Harbinger instead.

Do you think he is willing to gamble everyone's life? Not just a million, or a billion, mind you; everyone dies if he's wrong.

Nah, I think its a case of indoctrination, and I surely hope so. If he is indoctrinated, he can't help it. If he is a willing participant in helping the Reapers due to some contrived Xanatos Gambit, I'd lose all respect for the man. I'd proverbially "let him rot on the ship," if you know what i'm sayin ;)

When did I say love can't work in war? I'm not saying Shepard can't love, I'm just saying the players looking to bone characters left right and centre are playing Mass Effect for the wrong reasons. And new players can romance one of the old LIs if they have to.

Now THAT was my kind of Star Wars. The problem there is that Lucas decided he didn't like it, and nuked that entire section of Star Wars canon from orbit... in favour of the Clone flipping Wars, no less.

Well, they've been talking up the cheating thing for ages now, so you ought to have been expecting something along these lines.  Also, how do you know it's just a one-off catfight or whatever? Not like PC Gamer actually provided any details.

I hold RC2 as the sinlge most fun I've ever had on the original Xbox.
Part of me kind of wants BioWare to make a sequel...

See....I could see TIM pulling what Luke did in the "Heirs to the Empire" Trilogy. The (cloned) Emperor manages to bring him to the Dark Side because Luke, with good intentions, thinks he can somehow defeat the Dark Side from the inside by learning it, nearly killing himself in the end.

Now....I'm all for Cerberus as being enemies....IF IT MAKES SENSE. I'm also not against those that WANT to work with Cerberus to be allowed to have that option. I'm thinking that TIM has been Indoctrinated but....somehow will have a moment where he "regains his senses" and helps Shepard to take out the Reapers....right before he dies....a la Saeren.

Seriously, the Cerberus-fanclub mad in this thread is just delicious.

How could you not see this coming?!

Oh, and I'm with AdmiralCheez, I seriously hope TIM's reasoning is trying to get in with the Reapers and take them out from the inside. How that will work I don't know, but by GOD it would be magnificent.

I think you might have just made me pee a little...

I admit that indoctrination is the most likely answer, but that's just boring and predictable. In my eyes it's more risky to fight against the Reapers (99.9% chance of death) than to work with them or hide from them (99.8% chance of death). Even the Shadow Broker was looking for ways to survive the imminent Reaper invasion since he knew that there was no way in hell he'd be able to confront them. I think we can all agree that TIM is willing to sacrifice billions of lives to serve his own needs. Idk, maybe I'm just grasping at straws because I don't want the reason for Cerberus' change of heart to be indoctrination. Coincidentally, the Xanatos Gambit is one of my favorite tropes.

real simple the idea of Cerberus being indocunated is stupid and dumb . Plus it makes no sense with Cerberus wanting to stop the reapers and collectors in ME 2 .
